  • I have been playing the piano now since January 2019 and started off by teaching my self through TH-cam and other apps. Since august 2020 I have finally been learning with a great teacher and have made allot of progress and I hope I keep moving forward. Thanks for watching :)

Also I don't think simply practicing insane hours equates to continuous improvement. I have played classical guitar for a very long time I can state for a fact that practice involves rest as well. things we practice need time to be assimilated and processed by the brain. practice ->rest->practice will show a greater improvement at getting a new technique or a difficult passage 'under ones fingers' than endless bashing away etc

Look at his technique, especially his back. He clearly works with a fantastic teacher who taught him meticulously. His hands are in the classic "dome" position that is recognizable from Rubinstein and Richter. Contrary to popular belief, most of what makes for virtuosic technique has nothing to do with developing muscles and everything to do with using the body in the most efficient way possible, starting with a combination of finger action and forearm rotation, going to the bridge structure in the shoulder and back, to the small but necessary movements of the head and neck while playing certain passages, and of course the heels must be placed on the floor when possible to ensure proper alignment of the spine. Read Heinrich Neuhaus, as I suspect he was like an influence on the teacher of this young player. But also, understand that talent is not manifested a a brain that can easily to tasks that others find difficult, but rather as a mind that is endlessly passionate about the subject at hand and tackles challenging elements head on rather than avoiding them.

@@eibyzelnik here in Italy we call it "well tempered harpsichord o clavicembalo ben temperato", sorry. aniway, even if I doubt it is for all types of keyboard instruments, I think only for piano, harpsichord and clavichord, because for organ it is impossible, organ scores have 3 staves and the technique used in the book is mainly harpsichord, we can confirm this (for example) with the fingerings used, in fact, the turn of the thumb is unused. and at that time the only technique most developed for keyboard was the harpsichord. but of course you can call it whatever you want nowadays especially because we have different keyboard instruments.

@@thibomeurkens2296 undoubtedly the piece is of medium difficulty, but compared to the entire collection it is the simplest both for technique and for the type of musical writing, in fact we do not have the polyphonic complexity that we find in the English or French suites, or in the bach games, but we have few voices among other things very linear, think that if you go to the last bar, the note that fell on the little finger should have been kept but it did not, trust me that I am at the 7th year of piano at the conservatory;)

Also it is definitely not impossible on organ, many have already played it. Besides, many organ pieces were written on two staves or in tablature during Barock. Andras Schiff, for example, argues that the fugue in a minor bwv 865 is explicitly designed for organ because the final passage is not be playable as notated without pedal.

Stop pretending to be some kind of wonder child who just 'picked up piano 1 year ago'. Even the greatest piano players haven't had this kind of progression. People, it takes years of training to even train the fingers and muscles. Then comes musicality. To act to have just started. Is a slap in the face of every people who are studying piano.
