On The Dock (June, 2024)

Follow along as I spend a day on my sailor sweetie’s boat at the dock, observing all the boats and neighbors (human and non-human alike). No music, no special effects, just the natural sights and sounds out here. This is the San Juan islands in June, 2024. This is my longest video to date. It took two full days to upload to TH-cam on the pokey island internet connection.

My name is Jill Bliss, Salish Sea artist & nature nerd. Here I take you along on my low-key adventures and nature art escapades among the Salish Sea islands. My pokey island internet connection dictates that videos can’t be more than a few minutes long - it takes half a day to upload a 2 minute video! My dog buddy Jasper is always by my side. Sometimes we team up with my sailor sweetie on his sailboat to visit other islands.
Besides making local flora & fauna art, I’m also building a year-round half-acre home, art studio & garden from scratch on a small island out here among the many seasonal vacation homes and undeveloped natural areas.
