Crazy that I've been constantly thinking about drumming for the last week or so. Played a lot of drums through out my life for over 25 years. Started when I was a baby banging on pots and pans in the kitchen to my first drum set when I was 12 year's old. Played in many punk, metal, and Rock bands. I’m more affected by this loss of than I expected. Every death is tragic but somehow his hits especially deep. The Foo Fighters are more than just the sum of their music and Taylor was more than just a musician. His energy would drive the band which would lift the spirits of thousands. At the same time it’s comforting to know that his legacy continues through the next generation of musical talent. These kids are incredible.
You know, I haven’t shed a tear until watching this. But somehow it reminds me of when Jerry died. Taylor wasn’t as big, but he was still an incredible shining light. All God’s children are in their own way. Loved ❤️ Missed
