I bought a custom, camel back sofa in a lovely yellow/gold fabric. The two black arm chairs matched perfectly, making the sitting room elegant but inviting. Within one year my cat had shredded the back of the sofa and one side. So the rule of thumb is: don’t spend a lot of money if you have pets you won’t part with. (I still have the sofa and the cat 💕💕💕
