Hello everyone! Please see a correction as pointed out at 10:32 where Chevron and Herringbone are labeled incorrectly. Thank you! Today we are focusing on windows and doors, flooring, wall niches, mantels, and fire surrounds, and staircases, so I hope you feel inspired! We are also opening our new store today so I can't wait to share some photos/videos with you soon. Part of my inspiration for this series was because my partner Dave has completely transformed the old 70’s bank into an atmospheric French-style atelier! With love, Suzie x
I’ve been binge watching this channel like crazy! Seriously so many stunning designs it’s providing major inspiration for when I buy me a home in the very near future
Greetings from Santa Fe, New Mexico. This segment brought tears to my eyes in recalling two beautiful Classical home designs I once was able to live, a French Country design and a Dutch Colonial Revival. Thank you for this trip down memory lane. Another favorite Classical designer I admire is Carolyne Roehm; she was born in Missouri as I too. 💕
I love your channel, look forward to each video. This one is stunning! Thank you for all your hard work to give so much pleasure in watching each video.
Absolutely gorgeous, Suzie! I've always appreciated a front door with framework. Such a unique statement it provides. Lovely windows and floorings. A favorite of mine seen years ago, was in a designers interior store. A large pineapple inlaid with mosaic tiles in concrete. Truly stunning! Staircases can be grand and beautiful, but if I did have in this day and age, I'd certainly have an elevator installed. Ranch style homes look more and more inviting to me as time goes by. Afterall, I must be prepared for what's to come! 😉 Thank you for sharing. Thoroughly enjoyed your inspiration! ❤
Thee beautiful Suzie never disappoints with these videos. Thank you Suzie!! I’m in my early 50’s and there are some things that I love and didn’t know what the names of them were called. Like Pediments for instance. Thank you so much for being so informative. And detailed. Have a happy Easter you and your family.
You are so welcome Markell! It was a great refresher for me as well. It definitely makes walking around and admiring older buildings more enjoyable and fun being able to point out the different elements 😃
I enjoyed this 2-part series. I moved into a home that was void of any character and through the years have integrated millwork and wall trim in the main rooms and entry. I was lucky enough to find a louis Xv fireplace surround at a local consignment. It's still one of my favorite finds.
Hi Anthony, I am glad you are enjoying the series so far and great to read about your appreciation for the classical elements! I can imagine those additions have made such a difference xx
Adore this series and it’s so helpful, thank you! I’m currently renovating my Georgian house and saw much inspiration in this video series. Love all your content, Suzie-such elegance and I feel very relaxed when I watch it thanks to your lovely voiceover, classy music and stunning photography Xx
Beautiful video❤ always wanting you post another one, so beautiful and watching it is the bestt part of my day when I'm trying new upgrades in my lil 🏠😍 so many ideas and beautiful decor, love your channel!!!
I may have lived in one of these houses in my past life. Or I might live in one in my future life. Either way I’m extremely connected to the beauty and timelessness of these grand designs. They are everything I’d wish to have In my fantasy world. For now I settle on my very very small house but incorporate some of the finer details because like you have said Time and time again beauty is in the details.
You are so right! The beauty is in the detail. There is so much potential even in a small space. In our new store we were working with a much smaller space then usual but all the little architectural details we added definitely transformed the space xx
Your offerings are exceptionally good, thank you so much. A small request: I personally adore color, especially on the walls and don't consider it moody, rather sumptuous - please don't hesitate to discuss the use of color. :)
Thank you Miriam! That is a great suggestion. I admit I personally prefer a neutral palette with earthy colours but definitely open to covering a broader colour palette xx

10:32 herringbone and chevron are labeled incorrectly?
Thank you for pointing it out Ruby! I must of mislabelled and not spotted it xx
You are great

Have you done hacienda style?
Hi Roberto, we have not covered that style yet xx
You have chevron and herringbone mixed up on your recent video
Thanks Carol. We made an error when tagging. Appreciate you noticing that. Warm regards Suzie xx
Biggest tip! Be sure to have lots of money!
Money can help provide options, but you don't need to be rich to have a beautiful home by any means xx
First!
Thank you Sheila! xx
