We need more Old Church Songs in All Churches. Atleast 1 Old Song towards the end. Yes! This speaks to my heart! Years! God is Good! The 90's was the best times as a church kid! Whew!
A week ago I read Pastor Cymbala s book Fresh Wind Fresh Fire. I then read his daughter’s testimony. The girl in the song. I tuned in this morning and hear 2 of his sermons. God mightily used him to talk to me about things only God knew. He had people pray during the service. He has been there and poured his life out for decades. You sound like you have been a member for decades. I wonder what can you do to hold up your pastoral staff. They may get tired. God convicted me this morning to pray for my pastors something I confess I am not in the habit of doing. I saw that there is a Tuesday night prayer night. That is something I looked for in my city and did not find a posting on the churches I looked at on the web in my city. It seems they are doing many things right at the Tabernacle. Just thoughts from an outsider.
Web Surfin ...I’m sorry you feel that way. I’m a music minister who has loved their music and ministry for many years, and just recently, my three sons, who are in their twenties have gotten re-introduced to their ministry and has received tremendous blessings from the choir and Pastor Cymbala’s speaking. We were even blessed to be able to hear him and the singers at a Campmeeting in South Carolina.
@Web surfin' Sorry you feel that way. My sister told me to listen to this amazing choir and Pastor who preaches The Word of God for real. I am glad she did. God is using them mightily around the world. I am in Asia. What a blessing!
Web Surfin You said in your post that the Brooklyn Tabernacle has (spirituality) fallen way down from what it used to be decades ago. I have visited this church and watch them on social media. What has gone wrong with the church that they have fallen way down. This is not a trick question. Please enlighten me am I wasting my time with this church
I cannot hear this song without a broad smile coming across my face. The energy, the words, this is just a song of pure joy.
Rest in the loving arms of Jesus, dear sweet friend❤️ Until we meet again!

Repent of your sins and trust In Jesus Christ.
Tragically.... the Brooklyn Tabernacle has (spiritually) fallen way down, from what it used to be decades ago!
That is unfortunate ☹️ but am glad people are still listening to there music 🙏

@@jessicawilliams4952 They still sing songs like this one? (Not a trick question - I'm genuinely interested, as I don't know the answer)
