Large dam must not be encouraged much, Arunachal has already consented lots of mega dam which can provide electricity to India and even neighbouring countries. Arunachal should be kept greenery for future generations,it should not be seen as money making factory. Under construction Dams like NHPC is already effecting flora and fauna of its effected area. Very less fish r coming upstream and rivers turned grey full of slippery algies which was earlier crystal clear by the presence of varieties of fishes and bugs.

My demand to all the activists will be: If the govt. has no room for any negotiation then One thing I can accept is 1. Demand for double compensation for the land, paddy fields, house, compensation for revenue earned from the paddy field, orange orchards,cardamom orchards etc. 2. The politians who are showing excess of keen interest in building this SIANG DAM can distribute their share of LAND and with due respect can take the compensation from the govt. 3. Half of TAWANG'S land to be given to the families who will lose their land if building the DAM is for the prosperity of the people of Arunachal Pradesh,so why not the area from our honourable chief minister's area be a part of this humble cause. 4.Allocation of the same area of land from towns like Itanagar, Pasighat, Aalo ... If these demands are fulfilled then alone I can consider this SIANG DAM.

Whether or not 300 villages exist, whether or not there exist 1.5 lakh population, why submerge 1000s of hectares of agricultural land unnaturally. Land doesn't belong to only human beings and the present generation alone. What about other beings and future generations. Period. No big Dam. Period
