Hi Zen! Such an informative video. I am not sure if this has been said in your video but what is the diameter of your wheel? Have you tried a little stronger magnet on ultra dash also? TIA!
I did mention it. 35mm. And not I have not tried these on Stronger motors like Ultra. Sadly, the high speed category is not as popular here in the States. So there is no benefit for me to work on the stronger motors. Since most of my technical cars can not benefit from Ultra Dash because of too much power.

+hendrahendra As far as from what I've read dude, it does not weaken the stronger Magnets. Magnets technically lose power over time. What happens is the stronger magnets realign the magnets of the weaker motors. The stronger Magnets are basically there doing its own thing. While the weaker ones are getting their fields changed.

Hi Jan, did you do a proper break in after you tested the 2 motors in the video and if yes, did they gain even more speed/power?cheers
After normal break-in the motors got to their normal top speed. But they have more Torque than other motors of the same kind. They're faster when cornering and acceleration.
How did you measure the Torque Zen?
Try putting them in between silver magnets...i used to rewind stock rotors & combining it w/ silver magnet in ball bearing cases,zoooming result...how i miss those days...
Nah, even with this type of stuff. I would only use Tamiya Motors to realign the magnetic fields. Maybe I'd use a Plasma Dash but that's where I draw the line.

I mean should I remove them "Motors" to the kit after the race? and Is it true that if you will rest tamiya motors, the weakest magnet should be placed at the middle? in between of the strongest magnet? like for example HD3 at the left side, atomic at the middle and Hd3 at the right side. Is it true? that if u follow that procedure the speed of the motor will not decrease? Thanka

The charger in this video is a LaCrosse BC-700. It charges and discharges. It is not a balancer.
What is the brand of your battery charger? Is that the one that has a "discharge" function? Thanks!
This is an old video. The charger is a LaCrosse BC-700. I prefer using my SKYRC NC2600 and SKYRC MC3000.

Just to be clear, what I'm doing in this video isn't remagnetizing the magnets. If you listen carefully. I say that I'm realigning the magnetic fields. If you use stronger magnets to realign, you risk actually absorb magnetic power from the motors. The sides that attract one side of the motor are the ones you want facing the big magnet you're planning to use. Opposites attract. Same repel.
Do you have some kind of OCD with making the "eneloop" side of the label face upwards? You did it when fhe batteriss where in the car and in the charger

how about using speaker magnets such as bose speakers powerful enough to align 4wd engines?
I've never tried them. The reason I went with the motors that we have is that the shape of the magnetic field is similar. I don't think speaker magnets have the same magnetic field shape.

As long as you don't overheat the motor, the stronger magnetic force will last for months. I have a Torque Tuned 2 Motor Pro that is still fast from when I did it last year. Don't forget, this works better on weaker motors.

Here it is difficult to find someone who likes Mini 4wd and tamiya Brazil does not bring options of parts, models and nor are there competitions, it is complicated to like mini 4wd here ..
That's tough. It's practically impossible to have Mini 4 as a hobby if the company itself is pretty bad at supporting it.

Depends on the category of racing youre planning on racing.

In this video it is the LaCrosse. BC-700. Now I use the SkyRC NC2600 or my MC3000.

If you want single shaft and you don't have any motor limit other than 100% Tamiya, then Jet Dash for Single shaft and Mach Dash for Double Shaft.

I'm using 35mm wheel and tires. The top speed will be much lower on a normal car not designed for high speed.

this method have been used since 1999..the result it will gain more power but after serval run it will loss back those extra power...the power the magnet more power it will gain for a short time period
Since 1999? Cool. Now, on losing power after several runs. It depends on how long you realign the magnetic field in the motor. I have a torque tuned motor I treated for a few months and it hasn't lost its extra power. It depends on the heat the motor goes through. If you're talking about a motor where you used some super strong bar magnets and you use it to race cars that go 55kmh and more. The heat that the motor will get when you run it will definitely weaken the magnets. But on a motor you use for technical racing like a light dash or hyper dash, the motor does not heat up very quickly, it won't lose its power as fast as the high speed motors you that I think you're talking about.

Magnets should improve torque too, maybe you can try stronger magnets that u can find in the store and just stick then to the sides of the motor, it might have a better result
I haven't tried the stronger magnets. What I want to do is realign the magnetic fields. So it keeps it's same shape but slightly stronger. If you use much stronger Magnets. You risk changing the shape of the magnetic field. And I don't know what that will do to the motor.

+Amon Garam If you just want to go fast. Jet Dash works well with NiMh. If you want to go really fast, Lithium Ion with Plasma Dash is good.

you need to break in the motor. from what i see, your hyper dash is quite slow. i once tuned my friend's hyper to 35++km/h. amd that's without the floating transmission
+mohd azri The point of the video is to show the effect of realigning the magnet fields of the motors. Not Break-In. I don't even know if you watched the whole video since this Hyper Dash 3 reached 42kmh with No Break-In.

I'm going to do this on my Light Dash but I only have 1 Ultra (mahal kasi 😂). So, poor man's method. . .Ang gagawin ko nalang ay ililipat - lipat ko weekly to either side of the LD yung Ultra. If I do this with equal number of weeks to either side, do you think it would result to magnetic field imbalance? LOL.
It would probably work. If you aren't vigilant you risk horribly changing the fields. I recommend two motors. It doesn't have to be two Ultras. You can get away with two Sprints or two Power Dash.
Perfect! I have 2 unopened Power Dashes in my arsenal. Salamat pu master!
