I'm 65 yrs old. I have seen several actors and actresses play the roles of Superman and Supergirl over many years. Melissa Benoist has mastered the role of Supergirl. No matter who tries to follow, this young actress has become Supergirl. It is now mid 2020 and I hope the TV show continues.But even a Supergirl movie would need Melissa Benoist or an extremely unique and gifted actress to win me over. Helen Slater did a great job in the movie years ago. She is still a great Supergirl. Melissa has learned and honed her craft these past years. I think Henry Cavill really did a great job doing Superman. Special effect's tech helped a lot though.
