Might I, however, offer a suggestion: could you additionally mention the typical rounds used in these fundamentally obscure weapons, the bullet type, weight, muzzle velocity and so forth? This information would make it much easier to compare with contemporary World War I sidearms, such as 1911 and the Colt and Smith revolvers also chambered four .45 APC loads. Thanks again.
My dad got issued one when flying swordfish on anti submarine patrols in the North Atlantic. Don't ask why, guess they were so inaccurate & useless they ended up with the fleet air arm cos nobody else wanted them. Said he tried shooting tin cans off the deck of the carrier with it, never hit a single one & he was a good shot usually. Ended up keeping it in his locker then handed it back at end of his tour. Reckon this is as close as you'll get to a combat report on this ugly thing so take it as you like.
Had one back in 1981, shot well especially with the shoulder stock!

Closest I’ve seen is the H&R 32acp copy made by the same designers in the 20’s, neat but goofy looking guns.
Nobody would've been safe in the trenches if they'd cut the barrel back to the slide.
Uses the ejection port as the locking shoulder, long before the Glock.
Is the glock slide inspired by this slide...
