Hi Kelvina, completely depends on your travel style, how long you're spending in Italy in total, where else you're going, etc. For myself, I think 3-4 days in venice is plenty if you are visiting several European cities. However, if you like to travel slower, I believe you could spend a week with lots of time to get lost, enjoy day trips, and take it easy.
There is nothing wrong with having a lovely food tour. And pizza all the time, yes please 🤤.
