Despite mobley needing to improve on the offensive end I still feel more comfortable with giving him the max contract over garland. garland needs to develop a mid range game and be more aggressive attacking the rim.

@@peacefulwarrior9518 dudes gonna shoot 5 to 6 threes a game making league average or just above. He will average 20+ ppg and 11 rebounds. AND Atkinson is going to have him run sets from the elbow more and his assist numbers will rise as well.
All while being a DPotY contender.

Of course not!!! With the exception obviously of LeBron James this is a loser organization, that has never had any real success (without LeBron) and the ownership is completely satisfied with mediocrity
If real success is only winning a championship, then you are right, but you are also minimizing the success of the Price/Daugherty Cavs and the success the roster has had the last two seasons being less than 3 years away with restarting a rebuild. If that's your baseline, then pretty much every team in the NBA is a loser organization.
You can convince me the front office is incompetent. And you can convince me ownership is dumb or arrogant. But you can't convince me Dan Gilbert has no ambition to win.

@@peacefulwarrior9518 I'm not even convinced Koby is incompetent. The Cavs won 19 games in the 2020 season. A couple years later, they were a playoff team, and Koby accelerated the rebuild gambling for Mitchell, which paid off. He signed an extension, so it's a great trade. Now you try to maximize a talented, but flawed roster. Bickerstaff did not run a modern offense. His offensive philosophy was stuck in the mid 2000's. Mobley's development was tied to his role within that system, which ran no plays for him as a perimeter to mid range player and basically played him as a role player big
