The first person that I saw performed a correct analysis of the video without being inadequate and with the correct expression about the metaphors reflected in the video. The voices and choreography are oustanding, but the implicit message in the lyrics and the video are insane. You are the first person that analyzed the differences between the fruits and the vegetables in the window, the inversion of the sense of the flower ingrowing is another metaphor. The world has to combines all the differences, love and acceptances and the final exit finding the free is beautiful. Thanks for the analysis and sorry my English is not my first language...
So glad you reacted to this and your interpretations are on point. This song has been on repeat and XLov is a favorite we as Evol are excited to see where they continue to go. 🎉❤ Some of them are boys planet guys which is why they might look familiar to ya.
The one that is familiar to you is Wumuti from Boys Planet. Actually there are other two members that also participated in Boys Planet (Rui 1:17 and Haru 1:45).
*Omg u are the first reactor I’ve seen that I actually got it!! And I LOVE that u pointed out the 4,5, 6, 7, 8 the town and burned it. Ate it right tf up. Yes. Yes, yesss! I’ve got this song on repeat. I’m obsessed lol. Their looks are so captivating. The voices are beautiful!! And the mv is done really well. I can’t wait to see what they give us next.*
great reaction, interpretation is on point. you just missed the fact that in their chessboard they're 4 queens hehe 😬💅 finally a boy group with an actually new and bold concept. I've been crazy with this song since released. haven't been this excited for a bg since TVXQ honestly. 💜
Ahh I’m so happy you finally reacted to this!! I’ve been waiting for this since the MV first came out because I love your reactions 😭 you should definitely take a look at the dance practice and maybe some of the stages they’ve done so far!
you're pretty much right abt the odd eyes! their heart logo (which was created by the members themselves) that is made of "x l o v" letters can also be seen as a face with one normal and one odd eye: X_O. + each member has their assigned special color and the contacts match it
Three of them failed in the competition of Boys Planet because they couldn't get enough votes from the audience. They struggled for almost two years to get the chance to release their first song. I am so glad that they are now in good hands because the company shows respect for each member and treasures their unique talents while still making them whole.
12:48 Loved what u said about "Imma be"!!!! 13:15 Finally someone mentioned the "4,5,6,7 and ate(8) ... " lyrics bridging! Thx for the interpretation and some of ur observations are helping me see more into this iconic debut mv! 👍 Right on!
Love your analysis they’re so insightful and always makes me have deeper appreciation for the music! Encourages me to think deeper when I watch mvs as well❤
So happy you reacted to their debut!! I have been sooo obsessed with them. And I'm so glad you also got the deeper meanings behind it. I think the lyrics about prejudice could also be about gender norms in general since they're doing a genderless concept. Either way it was a killer debut, so excited to see what they come with next.
This just sounded like it was commentary on the way korea views queer people 😬 no one actually mentioned this so i hope im not delusional for making that connection
@@eh1165absolutely! Anyone who says it's not about that is, I think, just incredibly, painfully homophobic. They're transgressing gender and talking about the challenges of not being accepted. That's a very direct interpretation 😁
I was hooked quickly and had already really hoped Wumuti would be picked up as a leader at some point - he's so good! - and since then folks have told me that he's the driving force behind the concept. It all feels very sincere and thoughtful. It's brilliant from a marketing perspective too, because they'll be controversial. As long as they're ready for it - and this song is saying that they are. I'm so excited to see what else they do. They'll face some significant pushback in Korea but I think there are plenty of Koreans who are ready for this message. And lots of the rest of us out here - I don't think it's an accident that some of the more pointed lyrics are in English. They're not kids. One quite young member, but they're all adults, they've done a lot of work, they've lived. It's very different from a lot of groups at debut.
3 of the members, Wumuti, Rui and Haru were in Boys Planet 😊

@mori_san8206pretty common reaction I think, but it grew on me 😁 and I really do love it overall

Thank you for your reaction to XLOV! I think that they will be big! So unique and so much talent! ❤
You were on point. Don't miss the live stage or dance practice - they're already best debut of the year.

The details are so good. It's just such a sign that they worked hard to find those tiny ways to distinguish themselves. So cool!

I love Xlov ❤ Thank you for the reaction and explanation on the meaning! Btw in their performances, they all have two different colored eyes.

This just sounded like it was commentary on the way korea views queer people 😬 no one actually mentioned this so i hope im not delusional for making that connection
I genuinely can't tell if what I said is obvious or if I'm totally off base lmao 😭
What are you talking about? I didn't get it a bit🤔
