Good to see Edgware after so long. I lived there from 2003 till 2008. There was a Burger King Restaurant next to Edgware station, I used to work there but its all memories now... Thanks Mr Walk for sharing this video...

I lived there for 30 years and although I still visit because I have friends there I do not miss it at all. When we first moved there in 1977 there were smart shops. Not anymore.

Grew up in Edgware in the 80/90, great place to be and enjoyed the old ABC Cinema and trips to Woolworths (now Poundland). I can recall being at the junior school when they began to develop the Broadwalk development. Sad to see the Railway in such a state, recall drinking in there in the 90's when it was run by Tom, Pam and half of Australia :)
Someone mentioned the old station here, my earliest memory of Edgware was when the buses such as the 113, 142 etc... used to pull in front of the station as well as the back, there used to be concrete seating on the right where you could wait for a bus and toilets, which had big brass locks which you had to insert a penny in to use a cubicle.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

The pound pound is actually being closed down. The sign has been taken down, but there is still a bit of an outline Woolworths

Was born and grew up in Edgware/Burnt oak... left the UK in 2014 and not looked back since. Was a dump then and looks like it still is.

I lived in Edgware and went to school there in the 1950 - 60's. The place looks terrible, I only recognised St Margrets Church, what is left of the lovely 30's station and the Railway Hotel. Could be any high street anywhere in London, it had style before with nice shops. Now its tacky with awful brash shop fronts. If that is progress you can keep it.

Edgware used to have a good cinema and restaurants. I think the decline started with the closure of the Green Shield Building. You should do another walk around the park in Edgware
