The rotofury is highly underrated. Still my favourite blaster. There's a pretty serious prejudice against mega in the nerf community, and that consequently hurts the prospect of specialized rules. But I've always felt that megas should have a special effect. You can carry less of them and they are less accurate. I think that justifies the enhanced ability.
I don't know if this is just me but I really miss seeing the statistics of the before and after the K26. I feel as though it really puts into perspective how much the blaster is improved by. I don't know I'm just nerdy for numbers :)
The centurion plunger reminds me of the stampede in how the firing works. I have a stampede I worked on for 10 hours with breaks for snacks, it was from a goodwill and only primed half way before the motor quit. Manual fire with the blaster open was... interesting.
I mean, I've heard of Rotofuries being finicky and heard of them stripping regardless, but nothing definitive. Regardless, it is definitely a viable load on fly primary with the spring upgrade (and if you don't need Megas, a rebarrel). Also fascinating to see the overengineered mess known as the Centurion deconstructed further.
I upgraded my doublebreech and the priming handle snapped. Harvested its plunger tube and am now working on using a section of it on an XPT nitefinder.
Personally, I expected the Centurion to never take K26, seeing as I got one of the Grey-trigger buggers shortly after they launched here. Best thing I can think of to do with the Centurion to upgrade it (and not scrapping it for shell) without upgrading the spring - convert it to "HPA" like MTB-Ryan's Sledgefire.
Even though the Rotofury can technically take a K26, the telescoping plunger rod makes it very brittle. I recommend reinforcing the point where the rod connects to the head with epoxy so it doesn't break.

The rapidstrike stock is very comfy on the rotofury. I did it once and it was hideous but very comfortable. I defiently recommend it if you decide to not do a stock mount.
something cool that I (or you) could do with a doublebreach is to take off the dart holders, add a reverse rail to it, attach it to the side rail of a blaster, and attach the modulus tri-strike mega barrel thing and have something really cool for the 2 blasters that have a side rail and a barrel point.
The centurion fires fine without the barrel, and you can remove the barrel by prying it off with a screw driver without damage, in fact, I run mine without the barrel
Captain Xavier, I suggest that perhaps you could then use the k2 rotofury as a primary with it singled for elite darts like I have. You could use PVC to therefore achieve this and have a really high powered top off blaster. ;)

Personally, I love the Double Breach and Centurion. The Cent is simply a fun blaster and for the wars I partake in we rate Mega hits as worth double when playing game modes where you have either timed respawns, or a certain number of hits before being out. Makes Mega's have a place without ruining the function of standard guns.
I know this is an older video Captain but you may be wrong about the Centurion. The spring doesn't actually go around the white bit on the bolt. The white bit is actually a sleeve that the spring sits inside of. There is a mod guide for the Centurion by an Australian nerfer who can be quoted saying "They should have called this the Phoenix because in order to improve its performance you have to kill it and make it rise from the ashes." I haven't gotten around to modding mine but I intend to.
Captain Xavier Ah. I've gotten a few of those... I'm building a Bolt Gundam cosplay armor for 2018 ComiCon San Diego. I'm relying on a heat gun and lots of PVC and ABS for the bulk of the armor, and I've snagged, scratched, scraped, and/or cut myself at least a dozen times just getting the chest and arms roughed in.
Interesting, the rotofury works in a similar way to my flipfury. Which isn't that supprising considering its basicly a larger version. Also, I believe you can separate solvent welded parts by putting them in boiling water.
I hope it is on the docket already, But I wonder if the Dart Zone Magnum superdrum can take a K26 and does it improve the performance? (I saw you got one in the recent thrift run.)
I love the Magnum. My only gripes are that the drum is not removable without light modification (just use e-tape to hold the catches down) and that the wrist thing is super unsteady. I plan to get a couple more at my next Target run and turn the wrist rests into handguards.

I've been wanting to make something for mine because I pound on the poor girl at my DR LARP in Mass. and I want to treat her to something special. I've thought about sourta "machining" my own parts out of steel/aluminum rods and plates, but I haven't done it yet. Plus, I want to try and make metal gears (Not Metal Gear) and the rod for it somehow. Any thoughts?
Just put k26 in my Rotofury and now most of the time I go to prime it, it just slam fire and it only catch sometime. Any thoughts on what I did wrong? and how I can fix it?
Now if I prime it fast it works but if I do it slow it slams. I'll just call it good for now and mess with it again when I take it apart to attempt rear load mod. Thanks for the help.
One piece of advice, and feature that I'd like to see: when you fire the blaster, you should tilt the camera up so the user can watch how well the dart is flying out of the barrel downrange. Makes it much more meaningful to see how well the k26 affected the performance from POV
Given that I am firing it in my shop...it isn't going to tell you much. When I remember to I do chrono readings and ranges tests but it was pouring rain so I didn't.

No, it does not have a solid plunger tube like most blasters. It has a hollow one that the air passed through. It is a very strange design and there is a reason most people don't even try to mod them. They are overly complex and very resistant to modification.

My friends Centurion's barrel piece broke off at the perfect point and it did actually still fire without the barrel
