And now, the rest of the story... I did this on several sinks in a hospital where I worked. As a physician, I have to wash my hands frequently, before and after each patient contact. So it was maddening to have severely flow-limited faucets on every sink. This modification was necessary to preserve my patients' health, so I'm sure the hospital management would be okay with it. ;-)
+auxpowerunit - LOL, I was going to ask... What do you do for out of curiosity....???? LOL I got my answer! No wonder, you are an EXTREMELY SMART + ARTICULATE MAN!
Might be visible to you but I couldn’t see diddly.. I think that was a setup similar to mine so I guess I’ll go with that.. you get the like by default lol
Oh, this aerator is one of those "tamper-proof" ones that we find in hospitals. The outer casing rotates freely, to prevent it from being loosened by hand. Installers use a special key which turns the assembly from the bottom of the aerator. Since I don't have that key, I needed to grab the collar with my pliers. I agree that isn't ideal, because it does scratch the finish. But I didn't have any other tool which was appropriate for the job at the time. Thanks for watching and commenting !
PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE ...... LOOK at the " Door " behind him.... Obviously tell you he's NOT at home. The Metal Door alone tells me a lot about the location! There was a " reason " why, LOL!
By the way, try " analyzing " his(+auxpowerunit) writings.... You don't think he's smart enough to know that..., he needs to " PROTECT " the " Chrome Finish " ???

You dont need tools to remove the aerator, it should only be finger-tight. Using tools will damage the chrome finish and encourage rusting

Turbo faucet!
Yep, high volume water flow is best for getting hands really clean.
