After closing, the deed is eventually mailed to the buyer, this can take a few weeks.

What if you don't plan on actually moving into the property until 30 days after you close, do you still have to transfer the utilities a week before closing?
You shouldn’t have a home without utilities on especially in the northern states where extreme hot and cold occur, honestly it’s not much difference for an extra month, I’d just keep them on.

We did the walk through the same day as closing and the house was trashed. Dog poop and pee everywhere but i didnt want to postpone the closing so i paid someone to clean it. It was hell the entire thing from start to finish

All my closing costs & downpayment are already in an escrow Acct with the builder and I’ll be using my debit card for the purchase (not spending money needed for closing) i want to order now because of covid delays i don’t want to be without a refrigerator for weeks/months

What do you mean pull credit? Because you are getting insurance?
When do you purchase the insurance how many days before closing ?
This is a requirement from your lender. All lenders are different so make sure to ask them. Usually it is 1-2 weeks before closing.

Why can’t I put a large amount into my checking or savings?
Some lenders will question why a cash deposit was placed and mark it as a red flag. Please consult your lender as every lender is different.
