It's also more economical to feed them organic ground lamb or beef with veggies, and healthy kibble. I make mine for the week, and they love it. Vet said they are the healthiest she has seen. No fleas, skin issues, teeth issues, digestive issues - the food means everything especially for a special breed. Let alone any pooch. 🤗👍🙏

For dry food - I like Open Farm, and Fromme. The lentil and lamb combo is the best. The ingredients are excellent. It's about $40 a month to feed my two shih tzus. Average. Maybe less.

Absolutely. I love when people ask questions regarding how to better care for their pets. I take it very seriously. All my dogs have lived well past "normal life span" years, and I truly believe it's about their food, and minimal vaccines.

That's good you grinded up the dry kibble. I would have mixed it with goat's milk not water. Goats milk is rich in probiotics. I hope your using a quality dry kibble. Off them filtered water not water from the sink.

Only you know how much time, energy, work and love you put into it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be so Perfect! Had a pair. Female was 14yr and male 16yr. Is so easy for other people to share their opinion and not to have the diplomacy nor consideration in how you can feel with their comments. I totally admire and respect what you do !

Omg they are beautiful puppies. We lost our shih tzu 2 years a go. She was 12yrs old. We are now looking for a shih tzu puppy, maybe two so they won’t be lonely. I bet it’s so much fun watching them play. They are gorgeous. X

I would prefer to feed your dog Merrick puppy food. They already have Merrick Organic puppy food. Because luquidifying will cause runs. Try mixing the puppy food with goats milk. Goats milk is lactose free. Merrick dog foods are organic, and palable.

I think that's fine. Mine also prefers to sleep on the floor. He likes the cold weather and he's always fine to sleep on the floor even though I turn the AC on.

My dog a male, shihtzu, according to some, is not fixed. He will mount any size dogs including full sized german shephered and golden retrievers. You see, he's only got one ball and the vets won't fixed him without looking for the missing ball because it might turned cancerous. But it cost a lot of macaroons, so I let him keep his ball. It's true!

@@jissajoy2529 As per my personal experience, hard boiled eggs are the best to start with and later on bring in the chicken (Should be cooked\boiled\steamed\grilled etc but never raw)
