A sin bin is not always for a bad player on field, IF they had not sent him for 10 the next 15 minutes would have been wild, I have friends who are refs and they sin bin for the remainder of the game. It is a cooling off period not only for the idiot being stupid on field, but to prevent others from attacking the said on field idiot.

@@SlaintheMhath Martin is a well known dirty player, getting him off the field saved him from being a target and being carted off in the very next set, and also to prevent future brawls. Prevention is better than cure. You forget that there are many eyes instructing the ref, its footy, not a boxing ring.

At 3.37, Matt Burton just intentionally run into Ponga after he kicked, that resulted in a brawl, it was totally unnecessary in every way, just the only way Burton could hurt Ponga on the field, I lost EVERY bit of respect for Burton that day, and Freddy says he does not know why Burton is getting his head punched in.... open your eyes Freddy FFS....

Ponga got up and moved in front of Burton then Ponga and Burton kept running, Gagai runs in and blindsides Burton as he tried to get back and defend. Ponga had no problem so why did Gagai get involved, then Tino from Orange joins in and they bash a 20 year old bloke. Gagai should have been sent off.
I hope they get Gagai with a couple of good tackles next week, he wont be bashing Angus.
