- Schitt's Creek is a tiny town, and it's apparently full of perfect men....including Noah Reid! Noah and Annie Murphy, aka Patrick and Alexis, sit down with AM to DM to talk about what laughs and cries we can expect from new season of "Schitt's Creek." Plus, we get a lesson on Alexis' "hand gestures."
Noah does a really good job with Patrick's facial expressions. They're very subtle, because he's such a straitlaced character. But Noah is able to produce things like small smiles that speak volumes.

This guy is honestly such a good interviewer. Most times I’m cringing when the cast is doing press but this was a great example of back and forth and good questions for both of them.
(Not me replying two years later) I agree, you can tell Annie and Noah are at ease which they haven't always seemed in other interviews (understandably, they were really thrust into the spotlight very quickly)

This was such a great interview! I really enjoyed the host because he had good questions and actually LISTENED to their answers; a skill not many on TV have mastered.
First, this is a really terrific interview. Your questions were really well thought-out, and you actually listened to their responses and had great interaction with them both. It's obvious you really watch and love the show! Yes, I'll echo many others who have said "Thank you for the joy." It's a pleasure to watch "Schitt's Creek" and I look forward to every episode!!

Yeah, you can tell he's a genuine fan of the show which helps a lot.
I love Annie's character Alexis. She is always throwing out scary tidbits from her life before. How she had to escape a Sheik by playing pool in a burka, or being in the trunk of a car all while in high school
I agree. Her character may look superficial at first but those anecdotes she throws around prove how much tough things she actually went through. She's really brave, strong and incredibly smart in her capability to adapt and to get out of every situations in an inventive way. Alexis's overall a really great and wholesome character and Annie's playing her in such a great way it's hard not to get attached.
I love how her parents were never aware any of that happened. It was usually only David that apparently kept track of her, but she always made it out somehow.

I love this interview for so many reasons, but particularly because Saeed is SUCH a great interviewer. Super thoughtful questions, nothing felt out of place, and his energy was fantastic.

i love that when they answered the interviewer talked back like in a normal conversation unlike some interviews where they just move onto the next question, very natural and fun. Love this show & cant wait for season 5 to be on netflix

I’m obsessed with this show. I have to watch it on Netflix due to my schedule. When an episode is over I want to binge. But I quickly click out so I can savor it. I cried when Alexis confesses to Ted her love and he’s standing there. I was ruined. Look at how Alexis growing up!

I absolutely LOVE this show!! I cannot wait to see season six. For season five I have watched over and over episode Open Mic, The Olive Branch, Singles Week, and The Hike. They made me just melt and cry. Noah Reid is amazing when he sings. And Dan lip sync/choreographed moves are awesome!! Best show ever!! I hope the cast sees this since I’m not on social media.

I agree totally with what the interviewer says at 7:24 , when i heard Annie Murphy speak for the first time i got surprised that her voice and accent are really different from the Alexis character, i used to think that Alexis voice was exagerated but not that different from her original voice.

I had never known that Annie had gone through all of that and I've been watching since day one.
