there's a very very valuable lesson to be learned here. Just because Iraq is third world country with very severe terrorist problems, doesn't mean that Iraq itself isn't a beautiful country with magnificent scenery. Same for the airline. Just because the airline is from a country that has some terrorist issues doesn't mean that the airline itself is horrible. If anything this airline is one of the most beautiful airlines I have ever seen. I think people should not judge until they actually experienced it.

As far as I know,just avoid areas near the border with Syria and in some shady Baghdad neighborhoods.
