I came to the comments to make sure it was Bedrock. I am a redstoner so the redstone connecting to the pistons already made me suspicious

@@GrimGriefer5it kinda does suck because the bedrock of this game was so bad and I didn’t get it in the game but it still does it so much more fun and it makes it even more enjoyable and I don’t know if it’s just me but it really is good to see it and it’s really fun and it makes it feel so good and it makes it so good and it’s really cool and it feels so much better and it makes you feel more comfortable in the end of the world because it’s so good to be able experience and it feels so much fun to be able again I feel more and more comfortable with it so I feel more like a little bit more comfortable

You can tell when your on a chunk border when your x or z coordinate is divisible by 16
This can actually be used as an exp farm too by making the kelp go into a smoker/furnace and make the smelted kelp go in to a chest. After a while the smoker/furnace will build up exp. When you want to collect the exp disable the hopper that is transferring the dried kelp to a chest by putting a lever next to it and activating it. Then wait until the smoker/furnace cooks another kelp. When it does collect the kelp from the smoker/furnace then you should get a bunch of exp. (Note: you can turn the dried kelp in to dried kelp blocks then use them for fuel.)

Also, speaking from experience, don’t leave it running while it isn’t loaded in. It will break and I still haven’t figured out how to fix it
Usually when it breaks like that it's because of your sand. Take water out and check that all 4 are in correct place
How about a chunk loader?
Make sure the entire farm is in a single chunk. It breaks because you load half of the farm and it fucks the redstone
@@toastlotlhunk loaders dont work on bedrock i have tried to make some and it might work with cats bc when they stand they will go trough portals but you’ll need an alt or something so it doesnt tp to you
Below your sticky pistons is where the previous sand fell, break the sand under the sticky pistons and replace then it will work again.
Even easier, put an item sorter on your iron farm and attach a composted to the poppy slot
Was reading the comments to find a reason why there was sand hooked up to sticky pistons under the sand the seaweed is on, I now understand its to constantly update the blocks for a 0tick. Great farm, modular so you can make a few and hook them all up to eachother, just make sure that you turn em off when you leave so they don't break!
Fun fact if you live near a village and can trade paper this gives you xp or you can swap the composters for smokers and get xp that way. If you run it and smelt stuff long enough you can get some insane levels

I have this machines since 1.19 with custom sugar cane farm and auto smelter in one system and it's still works with the newest version
Works great, ive used it in a couple of my worlds but turn down your volume for blocks if you dont wanna go insane from the pistons lol

to anyone building this you only need 6 hoppers, 2 to catch kelp, 2 to feed kelp from chest into compost, and 2 to send bonemeal into chests
why does the sand break
I noticed it was bedrock when the redstone connected to the pistons like that, and also because it was based on a bug

No need for this if you have a skeleton spawner. I use my Skelly spawner for XP and bone meal. I keep all the enchanted stuff they drop and disenchant it for more XP. My looting 3 sword gets 600+ bones an hour. I have so many bones that I literally made a bit to store them in lmao. I don't even use bone meal that often anymore but I still keep it just in case.

The main take away from this is that you don't have to directly interact with the composted to get it to work. Shame it doesn't work on Java due to the rate kelp spawns.
Great except I’ve got a pit full of skeletons and magma block. Unlimited bones, arrows, and armour
I was so close to building this but then I found a skele spawned when I was watching the video
I had to do a ton of messing around with it rebuilt the farm 3 times i dont even know what got it to work last thing i ddi was replace the listons and sand then it started working but works great so far
I wish more farm tutorials explained the concept and inner mechanisms working in the farm instead of just "this here, that here". I am not discrediting this tutorial, it's just sometimes I'd have liked to understand how the machine works so that I can mould it into my own build. Once again no hate to this video, it's still a great tutorial

Important: do not build on chunks borders, it will break because of chunk load issues, if you use bedrock, go to chunkbase and there you can see the chunks, I learned the hard way

Handy tip for all those who are wondering if their farm stopped working. Look around to make sure the red stone/ torches are in place.
If the kelp/sand is missing empty out the water and check under the sticky pistons. And then make sure again that the redstone and redstone torch is where they are supposed to be.
Put back the sand in its OG place and the kelp as well along with the water. If it still not working repeat the process, it took me a min but I found out i was missing a torch
The problem for me is it immediately starts working but then never again until I turn it off and on again. So just spam the lever you get tonnes trust me
If u leave the world or chunk without turning it off it will break
Additionally it needs to be built within a chunk. Since you don't have that chunk viewer like in Java:
I think it goes 16 by 16 blocks starting from 0. That means the coordinates needs to be divisible by 16. Am I right? Need someone to confirm
I for some reason cant get this to work in creative. I made a 6 long version but literally nothing is different other than it being 3x as long and it just doesnt work. Itll work when i first turn it on then womt do anything
if you have any kinf of crop farm you can have an infinite bone meal supply

You have to reset the same sometimes it will fall I believe it happens if you exit the game and leave the machine on not completely sure tho that’s what happened to me and it broke the machine just had to reset the sand and close everything back up then it works again
This was nerfed allready once so lets enjoy until they fix it again
The kelp was getting stuck where the space the slab is on top of the regular piston so I switched the slabs with upside down stairs facing the same way as the regular piston

Mine worked until i got 3 stacks of bonemeal. Now the kelp isnt duplicating. Any idea what the problem might be? The redstone seems to be working fine.
Replace the sand/farm, you may notice glitched/fallen sand.

@@Dumpking I use coordinates. Negative on the y axis is south. Or look at the sun.

For some reason mine glitched. Everything looks fine but the normal pistons push and the particles that show up are the sand breaking particles. I think somehow it glitched and thinks it's eternally breaking sand not the kelp

It breakes the kelp 1 time then not again, i have to manually keep pressing the lever. Does anyone know how to fix?
Try tinkering with the speed on the repeater. I had to use a 3 tick delay till it worked

@@JobuffaloGaming Yeah I managed to figure it out with the rapid growth, but now I've encountered the issue of the sand sometimes just falling through the piston at the bottom. It usually happens after running for longer than about 2 minutes. I even stood in front of it the entire time trying to catch when it happens and it just doesn't make sense to me.

My redstone isn't going into my pistons, it works with one piston, but as soon as I put another piece to the other piston the redstone goes straight.

There’s a problem with mine, the sticky piston keeps making the sand move which instantly breaks the kelp at the bottom instead of breaking the kelp that grows

Problem:
If you leave this on and leave the chunk it will break
Solution: if broken, the sand from the sticky pistons has fallen under the pistons themselves. Simply break the sand under the pistons and replace

Rebuild. Don't leave it on when you leave the area or shut the game off
