The revenants in this timeline must be very strong, given that the majority them simply walk into a heavily fortified and entrenched position out in no man's land with no cover, making them easy targets.

Semi-unrealistic, Romania is a neutral country with telegraph lines to both Russia and Austra-Hungary. If a blighted horde completely consumed half the country, they would be able to inform both sides, there would be no disbelief when a neutral nation reports anarchy unrelated to the war.
It's ironic that in G&B the situation in Europe was better, despite the soldiers defending themselves with muskets and old tactics, but in this video, despite technology having advanced very far since the Napoleonic Wars, the situation is much MUCH worse.

@@matthewjones39 Machine guns still existed. Considering that one bullet could easily kill a blight, and guns weren't just one-ammo, the problems of firepower not being enough is circumvented. The real problem would come from the massive amount of people dying.
I feel like it would have started where osowiec fortress is (eastern Poland) due to the Attack of the Dead Men happening there, so it feels less likely it would be started on the Russo Romanian Border in 1915
