ECNU Review of Education Special Issue: Ethical Codes for Kindergarten Teachers Across Countries

Early childhood education and kindergarten teachers have a crucial role to play in the healthy development of a child. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure ethical and professional conduct by kindergarten teachers towards their students. However, current discussions regarding professional standards for kindergarten teachers overlook ethics. Therefore, this special issue of the ECNU Review of Education discusses the importance of ethical codes in early education, while examining their characteristics and theoretical bases.
