But she didn't kill all of her characters look at burke and Christina she had them leave the show without being killed. Maybe she wanted to kill some of her characters to see how the other characters who are still on the show. How it affects them as they try to move on. Death does happen in real life that is out of our control. I think Shonda and the writers wanted to show that in the show too. I think she and the writers are doing good job. The show seem to still be going strong in my opinion. It may not have high ratings as it once did. But it happens with a long running show your ratings will fall after time.
