We have used a 1.5mm drill bit.If you don't have a drilling machine, you can also use a large sewing needle.

You can coat it with clear varnish for long lasting durability and shine.. Its doing great on indoors without varnish... Keep away from direct sun or rain.

We drilled holes with hot steel rod. You can also get it done by a drilling machine.
