I send connection messages and generally get a good response. I find that complimenting them on a skill, asking for advice and offering a win win situation gets a response and opens up communication lines; I don't often look at peoples profiles and not many would look at mine. Some do, but you miss out on those that don't, just accept your request and once and month log into LI, miss your great content as it's down the timeline and an opportunity goes missed.
I updated my bio and I already have almost 100 new connections this week! I can’t believe what a difference it has made! Thank you so much Vendy - you are awesome!
Hi Mrs vendy, When I Make Educatio&Experience In My Linkedin Profile there's feature on off connections know your updates in their notifications bell;yes or no? Please reply quickly???
That's such an interesting suggestion but one that doesn't work for me. No judgment on how you do things, but I for one always personalize my message to let people know why I'm reaching out and in fact, I don't accept requests if people don't bother to introduce themselves. You see, I'm into quality, not quantity. And yes, if a person is sending 100 connection requests out per week there's no way they can personalize it, but I don't want 100 connections a week. There's no way I can engage with all of them and vice versa. So for people who want the numbers but don't care about relationships then your model would definitely work. My business is relationship-focused and I have no interest in connecting with people for whom I'm just another number.
Thank you so much for sharing your perspective Anastasia and I so agree - LinkedIn is all about building meaningful relationships 😉 I’ve personally had 180+ networking calls over the last 18 months (each and every one of them arranged through LinkedIn) and I always encourage my clients to do the same 🙌 I totally respect your decision in not accepting connection invites without a custom message - each to their own, right? My personal belief however, is that you should allow everyone into your world. Even if the person is not you ideal client, even if they live in a country you don’t work in - let them join the party 🎉 Why? Because these people will often become your biggest fans!! They will engage with your content, they will refer new business your way - this is exactly how the inbound lead attraction (that business owners come to me for) works 🙌
@@VendySteinberga Thank you, Vendy, you are right...each to their own for sure! 🙂I think at the end of the day we need to go with what most resonates with us as individuals. Wishing you a blessed day!

Do you personalise your connection invites on LinkedIn?
Let me know in the comments 👇
Great advise @Vendy. I too follow the same practise.
Cool videos, Vendy! I wonder if that's video strategy has changed, since LinkedIn now allows much more than 100 weekly invites.
Hey Anton - my VA sends out invites every week until she gets stopped by LinkedIn, roughly it's still around 100 connection invites 🙂

Hey rockstar, I'm not entirely sure what the question is - can you please break it up into parts? 😉
