Hi Dustin, I like to see a person enjoying their food, especially when they caught it.
But seeing Amber’s sweet sad face, practically broke my heart💗
I’m so glad you gave her some, but it would have been nice to see you give it to her. Amber loves you regardless, and that’s wonderful to see❣️🐕

That reminds me of something my dad made that my mom and her mother couldn't get enough of. He made a vinegrette with bacon grease, and a bit of honey, onion and garlic and a touch of vinegar. Then he poured the hot vinegrette over their fresh baby spinach and tomatoes from their garden.
Just curious, why do you not pop the little finger off the large claws, first? A Down Easter from Maine taught us to pull that little finger off, with the tendon, and it makes cleaning out the claw much easier.
Thanks for the hard work and bringing us along; you take me places I'll never get to see.

Mmmmmmm lobster, crab, prawns. LOVE them all. How about a New Brunswick Stew next time you're in the woods? Brunswick stew is a Southern US dish that features a tomato base with beans, vegetables, and meat. Early Brunswick stews were often made with squirrel, rabbit, even opossum, but these days pork, chicken, and beef are common. The original thinking was to use local ingredients and those you have on hand, which remains the same today.

My favorite seafood is raw oysters with some really spicy cocktail sauce. I love pretty much any saltwater fish or shellfish. Oddly, I don't care much for freshwater fish though. Here in Florida seafood is pretty abundant, so I admit to being spoiled a bit. There's an inlet on the east coast where our friends used to go and harvest oysters and shrimp (same as prawns?) by the 40-gallon buckets and we'd do giant seashore feasts.
