I think the current G90 has some things on par with this or better in terms of materials, and in Korea you not only have massaging memory heated/ventilated seats in the back, but a leg rest, foot rest and foot massage. The regular wheelbase doesn't seem any bigger than a Mazda CX-5. Meanwhile, Suburban, Escalade, Excursion, and Denali (and maybe even the QX80?) are still huge compared with the extended wheelbase Bentley. Does this car not have a separate climate control zone for the back seat? That seems silly. 3. they put a run-of-the-mill infotainment system with a small screen in the front (looks like one you'd find in a $35K Honda). 4. excessive use of plastic on the front dashboard and center console. 5. the tray tables in the back are tiny and pretty much useless. They sit too far from the back seat and there doesn't appear to be any way to slide them back toward you. And they are too small to use a laptop on for work. 6. I thought they look similar. So same suv just different front stuff lol
I really like your review.
Very professional (+ fan and very entertaining).
It also called Legend,thank.
I visited a customer in Salt Lake City a few months ago, where he and his wife had his and her Bentaygas.
I love these type of reviews by Doug... Stupidly expensive cars full of quirks & features. I want more!
This design has grown on me quite a bit since it first came out. I think the EWB made the proportions better.
yea but it still looks like a Ford Edge
My VW Up also has Airline Seats in the back. It's just that the airline is RyanAir.
I’ve seen a couple of Bentaygas around the Dallas area and i must say i REALLY hate those oval taillights… don’t know who else feels the same
Just reading the comments to see if anyone else thinks the back of this looks terrible, those taillights look like a Chinaman with a nasty hangover 🤣🤣
“I’m drivin a Bentley bentayga like ion love my life “
They took the ejecting rear seat tablet from the Volkswagen Phaeton, mine has that 😄
The Phaeton was a great car that no one brought because people couldn't get over the badge. That thing was built like a tank.
@Al mac I know! It was the best value for money used luxury car when I bought it, and I really researched this. And I actually haven't had to have anything repaired besides standard maintenance in about 50k miles so far.
This is the future. I had a 86 Bronco 2 with the 2.9 liter V6 made in Germany. 4x4 auto with overdrive. Kept it 20 years and sadly the head gasket blew 300.000 + miles later. Not too much Lighting fan. I miss the old one. Thanks Mr. Osborne. 👍👍❤❤🤑🤑😎😎
I hope Doug does a review of the Maserati Grecale. It seems like a tremendous car that has the potential to pave the way for Maserati’s comeback.
It looks like shit
THIS made my day.
Can't wait to get one for 50k in about 10 years
Or even sooner and for less money once someone wrecks one and gets into an auction !
@@DanielGonzalezkyv Very true. I've actually been looking to purchase a wrecked BMW M4 to fix myself from a salvage auction. The only thing that concerns me about these vehicles is that parts can be difficult to find.
@@ryanjade2836 I know by experience that luxury and exotic cars get totaled by little damage most of the time they rarely get fixed so real treasures can be found at auctions once in a while.
I'm only 17 and I really want a customized Bentley Bentayga in the configurator 😌 Thank You for the review
Those crystal headlights are $7694 each in Canada
Not a concern for one who can spend $300K on a car
Whew, fingers crossed with those stone chips flying around!
@@kuramarosetta8193 not sure if you're aware, but there's this thing called insurance that responsible drivers have
@@kuramarosetta8193 Yeah, and if they end up having to make claims on those policies they'll see their premiums heading for the stratosphere. Bust those headlamps and the insurers will have the money off you in the end.
The Speed still has the W12! So there is still time for you Doug!
What, no third-row seat?! I'm so disappointed. Marking it off my list. LOL, It's a beautiful vehicle, and glad Doug gave us the inside view. More power to those who keep these luxury marques in business. The creativity is simply amazing. Well done...
The standard one has 7 seats
@@user-2rx7zfeu but imagine how much more sense to have 7 seats in an extended wheelbase....the standard version is pretty short all things considered. The extra 7 inches makes this a normal sized SUV. And the Escalade and Denali are still way bigger than this extended wheelbase Bentley...and 1/3 the price.
@@pex_the_unalivedrunk6785 But the Escalade is a Cadillac. Need I say more?
@@pex_the_unalivedrunk6785make sense. I was wondering why the smaller version has 7 seats
I seen one of these yesterday leaving the airport … I mean it was nice though and I was in my 2017 Lexus lx 570 … all in all I still wouldn’t trade my 570 for a Bentley SUV because I know the Lexus capability. I’m not sure the Bentley was a Bentley Bentayga and I know their base model is very $203,000 …
A nice Q7 indeed.
😂😂😂😂
I look at that amazing rear interior space and think what it would look like after 1 week with my kids back there.
Just like the initial thought of Doug, his wife, his son, and his dog in one of those....then you shudder at what would happen to those seats!
Fun review. Doug the used car salesman! 🙂
The proportions and facelift look noticeably better than the original, blobby Bentayga. Personally, for the same money I would rather get a nice LWB Range Rover with change for a nicely specified new 992 911
Hmm... any old binman has a Range Rover these days though.
How boring. Typically dentist garage
If there is the slightest chance you might have to go off road, perhaps you are Jeremy Clarkson on his farm, then it is madness not to choose the Range Rover.
@@DavidFBird Apparently the Bentayga is quite capable off road, though.
@@davidstewart4570 don’t know what kind of binmen you are hanging out with
I'm a peasant. I can't imagine buying a car that's worth almost as much as my house.
At only 300K, might as well take two!
An extra 7 inches in the rear never hurt… you know unless you forgot the ky jelly
Makes me want to buy a first addition 8 year old W12 Bentayga for 80k 😊.
Doug is the type of guy to name his camera Peasant.
No way Doug said "The Long Boi"
I can’t help but think how the side profile looks like a vw atlas, with the motor of an Audi, and a rear end of the Lincoln mkc
PSA:Doug said baller my week is made
This is my dream SUV! amazing job Doug.
Great, rational review, Doug! Been watching your vids for years. So consistent and entertaining!!
I think the airlines should name the first class seats the "Bentley Bentayga" section
Mood lighting and chromed speaker covers is what rich people want.
I can see your point about the engine that is used across the VW family may drag down the Bentley implementation, but does it raise the status of the other VW family vehicles that use the engine?
Definitely
Indeed it does good Sir
No kidding. This car shows what can be done to a Touareg when the VAG guys are given enough money!
It's interesting that Doug talks about it being a car for being chauffeur driven but is highlighting the button to close the door. That's what chauffeurs do.
Doug is the of type of guy to go to his own wedding in shorts
Haven't seen this much wood trim in a while, I'm glad someone's still doing it
Bentley’s answer to the Cullinan I suppose. Lots of obviously plastic switchgear sprinkled around the cabin, especially the dash. And despite all the plushness, it still lacks the quality and opulence of a Rolls. I do love Bentley’s ‘Crystal’ headlights though. The prettiest in the business.
Bentayga came 3 years B4 the Cullinan bruh
@@squidwardsuicidegaming5973 I know, just saying this super-lux version might be to compete with the super-lux Cullinan who’s opulence was greater than the original Bentayga.
