Man….I’m an admitted D. Everette critic last season, and kinda hated on him a little in this game, because of plays that I’ve seen Bullard have to “bail him out” last season……but I also have never taken the time to watch a breakdown of how the kid plays football…..definitely have a new respect for this kid. Thanks Brooks 🤙🏻
They are both talented and discipline......but to me this is the most explosive defense i hve ever seen if that makes sense.....im not a uga fan but what i can tell u from the edges on back to the secondary this is absolutely the most elite talent i have ever seen all you guys have to do is keep those big guys at defensive tackle healthy and this will be ridiculous.....
Just a regular old Georgia fan, not a football expert. I just want to say though I watched every bit of this video and I learned a lot about football and film study. You do a really great job.
@54:00 talking about Williams processing run blocking, I'm just choosing to believe he sees football as narrated by Robert Downey Jr in a Sherlock Holmes, slow motion sequence.
I said that was Christian Miller's coming out party! He was constantly in the backfield. I saw one play where he was doubled and he didn't budge! Awesome game by #52 and #78!
I actually got the call on that explosive vs Everrett (~23 min mark) right during the game -- and I attribute that to years of watching this channel. Keep up the great work Brooks!
georgias defense is the most disciplined and the most fluid defense in the country in my opinion but i would also say they could be considered the most talented
As much as I love all this stuff, as someone who didn't grow up with football, too much of it is over my head....I understand it when you explain it but I surety cannot recognize it on my own... Any chance you could ever make a tutorial series explaining the basics? Formations, routes, coverages, reads... What all is out there, how does one recognize it.... That would be phenomenal. I've searched but couldn't find anything good on the TH-cam.... So we need a "shut up and understand the tape"
Most disciplined. Kirby knows how to instill it in a kid, he reminds me of my time in the Corps. UGA is not lagging behind anyone when it comes to defensive talent though, don't get it twisted. But, I think its their discipline that separates them from other units.
Too soon to say they are the best, but definitely disciplined and talented. Probably the best coaching staff in cfb. Looks like it's going to be a fun season. Go Dawgs!
On the critique of Allen on the fill .. look at how many red jerseys come into the picture after the contact between mafa and Allen. The defense is fast mobile and agile !!
Your film study videos are amazing. With that said, I think it'd be great if you focused in on some plays (however few there are haha) where the UGA defense played poorly and talk about what they could have or should have done better. Think you did that a couple times but it'd be cool to see more of that. Thanks for putting these out either way, baller content.
Regarding Klubnik, when’s the last time you’ve seen a Clemson quarterback make marked improvements throughout their careers? Deshaun, Trevor… largely the same guys when they entered college vs when they left.
Clemson fan here. Congrats to your Dawgs and yes it was a coaching clinic put on by UGA saturday. Out of curiosity what do you think about the Clemson QB? I feel that you will give a fair honest and not a lazy answer.
Turns too much down that the coordinator is winning for him. Misses too much easy stuff. Has too many mental blunders. But isn’t getting a ton of help in the weaponry department. He’s a limited physical eval - doesn’t have the biggest arm, isn’t the greatest athlete. He’s good enough in both departments. But he HAS to play mentally perfect and accurate and he fails to do so consistently.
@TheFilmGuyNetwork appreciate the reply. I was kind of left thinking the scheme was bad, not enough rubs and motion to get wrs clean releases or ability lose a defender in traffic. It was pretty obvious from drive 2 that UGA had the speed advantage watching the game. So im surprised that you point out turning down the coordinators wins. Once again nice break down and thank you for the reply.
It’s both talent and discipline. Great athletes playing disciplined football is very hard to beat. Tenn tries this outside stuff with better talent and it doesn’t go anywhere. Like Kirby said, you’re gonna have to out execute them to beat them. They love doing the hard stuff everyday
instead of Garrett Riley sitting klubnik down on monday to go over film, theyd be better off just sitting down together and watching this. 😂 I honestly think theyd get more out of it bc poor Garrett is about 95 points in the hole verse Kirby. Also, totally agree that Starks would thrive close to the line. Kirby was quoted recently saying Malaki is the best player at 5 positions on the defense...given the talent on the roster that's insane
@@TheFilmGuyNetwork his best example of excellent play was against Missouri last year. He was all over Weiss jr without getting flagged and BARELY allowing catches. I love that he does it the right way every rep.
They are a good defense I would not say great due to Kirby Smart following the Saban model of not taking the cheese to keep his team working to get better. I would like say they are but I will follow the lead of the coach on this one. He never thinks his team as that great to continue to keep them working
I think the defense is good but I also know for a fact Clemson offense is terrible.. as the season goes on you’ll realize we could get exposed against a really good offense with elite qb play.. fortunately for us I also think by the end of it our offense will be lsu Joe burrow level
Bruhhhhhh i didnt like him last year i watched him this last game THEY SHOULD CALL HIM GRAVY because even with the catches he was ALLLLLLL OVER CLEMSONS CORNER
Get realistic. That Clemson offense was nothing. We still dont know if the defense is even good. The offense sputtered for more than a half. Georgia should not be celebrating anything at this point
No, UGA's defense is no better than Bama's! Jaahid Campbell and Deontae Lawson are second to nobody in college football. The biggest question with Bama's defense is in the defensive backfield. Keon Sabb and Domani Jackson answered a few questions this weekend, and it will be interesting to watch Devonta Smith and Jaylen Mbakwe progress and develop. There is also Zabien Brown, Red Morgan, and DaShawn Jones (starter if not injured) looming in the background.

He’s an excellent corner just has subpar ball skills but he’s always in the correct position just has to learn how to finish and knock the ball away
@@gbrown4190bro that’s exactly what I said Saturday. He’s usually in great position and has good cover skills but his ball skills just aren’t there.
Maaaaan this defense is gonna be fun as hell to watch this year! Let’s get it
LET'S GO!
GO DAWGS!@@TheFilmGuyNetwork
Disciplined and talented . You can tell that Kirby and Glen put a lot of time on that defense.
A+ Brooks and team.

Well said. Haha

Hell yeah--a live show at Creature Comforts!? Y'all are crushing it!
When your top 3 in both you are probably the best in the country. You are so right, as usual, the sideline to sideline speed is insane!!
INSANE
georgias defense is the most disciplined and the most fluid defense in the country in my opinion but i would also say they could be considered the most talented
FACTS
It’s both Coaching and Talent! Kirby and Co prepare Football teams for everything the players have to be talented to make the plays

Definitely the most disciplined and talented for sure. Jalon Walker is an absolute freak.
I'm spreading the FGN around on every channel I can. I'm pushing Flash Frazier too. I hope we continue to improve every week.
Discipline, I genuinely believe this has been a pillar of a CKS lead program/unit since he’s been a coach
Agree, but they are talented.
Most talented and the most disciplined. Everyone will see it as the season plays out.
Most disciplined. Kirby knows how to instill it in a kid, he reminds me of my time in the Corps. UGA is not lagging behind anyone when it comes to defensive talent though, don't get it twisted. But, I think its their discipline that separates them from other units.
the way they communicate with each other is also just simply on a professional level
Too soon to say they are the best, but definitely disciplined and talented. Probably the best coaching staff in cfb. Looks like it's going to be a fun season. Go Dawgs!
They’re absolutely the best
Great show. Thanks for the work you put in.
my favorite aspect of your channel. love the film study!
I was also thought Damon Wilson played way faster. He looked really fast out there and was sticking!
Another great study. Thank you
Damn dude I just gotta say I’m so lucky to be dawgs fan, what other team is getting content like this? Nobody’s doin it like Brooks
I love #6. Bad rap, great throws against him.
This is awesome. Subscribed.
I love the rants on Klubnik 🤣
Brooks needs a diddy counter from now on😂😂
Another great video, Brooks 👍
On the critique of Allen on the fill .. look at how many red jerseys come into the picture after the contact between mafa and Allen. The defense is fast mobile and agile !!
Jalon walker seems to get better the longer he plays, almost like a bruiser back in the 3rd and 4th quarter
Team speed was on another level!!

I went play by play. Clip by clip. For the first 40 plays of the game
Muckin love this ish.
14:10 looks like a blitz were the nose is slanting to the left backer actually plays it right by blitzing the A gap
Yes & yes
20:30 Brooks almost felt sad for Cade and then the long sigh.....hahaha
almost
Regarding Klubnik, when’s the last time you’ve seen a Clemson quarterback make marked improvements throughout their careers? Deshaun, Trevor… largely the same guys when they entered college vs when they left.
Nothing but respect Brooks but 13s talent is shining on that outside zone play my dude.
I said on your offense breakdown yesterday that daylen played phenomenal
Man, I didn't even cheer when Malaki made that pick. I was too busy rubbing my eyes and picking my jaw off the floor.

The 1st thing i noticed from the defense vs Clemson was their speed. I couldnt believe how fast they were...
"Are they the most talented or the most disciplined?" Yes. The answer is yes.
I think they are both the most disciplined and the best defense. I think the discipline helps create the best defense.
It’s both talent and discipline. Great athletes playing disciplined football is very hard to beat. Tenn tries this outside stuff with better talent and it doesn’t go anywhere. Like Kirby said, you’re gonna have to out execute them to beat them. They love doing the hard stuff everyday

You shut your mouth when you’re commenting to me
@@TheFilmGuyNetwork 😂 😂
Love sticking your neck out for DE6. He's a football player
Yessir back at
I saw a national sports Podcaster described the Georgia defense as "terrifying". 😮
Damon Wilson play speed is so beautiful great player and is becoming much more than a 3rd and long pass rusher

17:20 is some serious Roquan Smith ish
disciplined
I go to bat for everette… I don’t hate him lol

Same. He didn’t have a bad game at all. People hating on him don’t know ball
@@TheFilmGuyNetwork his best example of excellent play was against Missouri last year. He was all over Weiss jr without getting flagged and BARELY allowing catches. I love that he does it the right way every rep.
Georgia is almost always the most disciplined D. When they're also the most talented (with experience), they are all-time special.
Certified Ball Knower 😂 🪪
Maliki starts in Atlanta = goat
Great content as usual but you forgot about 5 pauses😂
Spot on analysis, formet pllayer, Reggie herring would be jealous,
Both!
Guess who played the most defensive snaps.....KJ with 49! Next closest was Everette and Starks at 45.
The hand gesture on third down means “money down” all across college football. People have different packages for it but it’s money down …
I like #6 a lot he just has plays made on him
It's discipline thus far. Not to say they aren't talented because they are relative to everyone else. But their execution was strong on Sat
Brooks, how do you get the film for these games? Is that something that’s available for everyone to go back & watch online?
Disciplined. Well-coached. Fast. Them boys don't miss tackles, either.
I just don’t understand how anyone could justify not having 11 on the field every snap unless he’s gassed. He’s as unique as they come
this shit right here 🤌
I'd have to say the most disciplined because of the lack of top end talent on the interior defensive line.
I don’t like making comparisons but man does Daylen remind me so much of Tyson Campbell. They’re damn near carbon copies, development and everything.
They are a good defense I would not say great due to Kirby Smart following the Saban model of not taking the cheese to keep his team working to get better. I would like say they are but I will follow the lead of the coach on this one. He never thinks his team as that great to continue to keep them working
The answer is yes lol
I really am having a hard time coming up a defense that I can remember with this much speed
My number one take away
Yeah it’s definitely discipline
Talent means nothing without discipline……so I’m saying disciplined….that’s the standard at UGA
All the above is the answer
I'll take both.
COP OUT
Combo both
Clemson was running on them
I don’t hate Everette, It’s just irritating to see him be in perfect coverage 99% of the time and have a perfect pass every time.
Georgias defense is both the most talented and the most disciplined
I thought 93 had a good game also!
Disciplined #GoDawgs
The two choices are not mutually exclusive.🤷🏻♂️
Let’s gooooo
Let's get it!
