Taking your suspension setup as a base, I made an adjustment for the high-speed curves of the Daytona external layout, I used 1.00 of divergence on the front axle and 1.00p of convergence on the rear axle, this way the car doesn't pull to the sides randomly in the high-speed curves of Daytona, the car was stable and very rigid.

Really nice to see a classic NASCAR build, I'm always fond of builds like this. I agree that it would be weird and unrealistic if this car or others like it handled similarly to more modern cars and did a lot of the work for you, so I always like your builds like this because you always make a 70's car feels like a 70's car. Another fun car build, I'm really enjoying this pack so far.

Looking forward to trying this out. The cars that are not too forgiving are most appealing to me, I love cars with a unique character.
I’ve actually been looking all over for NASCARs and couldn’t find data to base something off of, so I’m incredibly happy with this! Thank you.

As a NASCAR fan myself you're not too far off base with this build. You did a really good job.

I looked up some information of similar Nascars of the era, and the Charger Daytona made about 575 horsepower, and weighed around 1650 kilograms. I would probably use the same power, but a little less weight (around 1550-1600 kg might be a good bet).

I love it when you do the American vintage racing this one and the corvette!!! Hands down the best

Love this inclusion. Although I am American, I do not care for Nascar at all.
However, you cannot deny the awesome '60s & '70s cars produced during that era. Love this one, very drivable and unique. Great job!

I think for a more accurate feeling, you have to use comfort, or maximum sport hard tyres, generally on old clasic racecar builds. and maybe just the sport breaks too. People somethimes forget how "bad" the breakes and tires where back then, compared to today. But anyway nice build. I like your content! Thanks for it!

I drive two 60's Lincoln's irl, so I know all too well about classic American brakes, lol. But yeah if you want full realism go for it, I like to make some exceptions here and there for the fun factor, and then players can make whatever changes they want based on realism etc

Would you also think a lower spec transmission would be more realistic? I reckon a longer gear shift would be more suited for this era of car

I found it really weird that Nascar cars had 1300kg by the 70s, but then I remembered F1 cars had less than half and cars around this era had very little worry for safety. Still makes me feel strange for their power to weight ratio.

Try to dropping the ride hight to the max. You can go much faster plus add a NASCAR rear spoiler.
