For the generators, the lights turn on and flicker if the generator is at least 1%. When a generator is completed, the lights will stay on and not flicker.
Also another pro bonky tip: Its like chase chase chase, because if you lock your target one one person and cage them, you dont know where there cage is, so they will probably will escape. But if you know which survivor you caged before target them again because if they are captured twice they will be eliminated, repeat this as much as u can
Here's a tip from personal experience... If you're ever going to go rescue a friend and pass a generator, purposely fail that generator so that Bonky goes over there. Hope this helps
As Bonky, it's helpful to pick perks and abilities that complement each other. For example, using Danger in Numbers to identify an occupied generator, then using Silly Sneak to get over there in secret, or using the radar when they scatter.
If you're using Brave Scout, failing generators that haven't been started yet to distract bonky is more useful than ever. It tells your teammates where bonky is and buys them time to get other generators. Plus, there's a few generators that are close to eachother so if you fail one that's far away from the others then bonky will be on that side of the map and won't be able to get your teammates. Also, only have one person use signal boost. It doesn't change anything if more people have it. One last tip, (this one isn't really a tactical advantage and more of a joke) you can use silly sneak as bonky to hide in certain places to jump out and catch someone by surprise. Basically, survivors aren't the only ones who can use porta potties. You might want an extra 5 seconds on your silly sneak though.
The best Bonky tactic is to forget about the green and yellow generators. Let the survivors have them. There's too many easy ways for them to lose Bonky at the green generator due to the structure of the maze. Once the survivors take the green and yellow generators they are stuck with the choice of light blue (in the middle of the map), white or purple (both near North Gate) which you can easily cover as they are very close to each other. Just keep circling those 3 generators and don't let them have it. Once it gets to midnight the survivors are screwed as you will cover those 3 generators so quickly they don't stand a chance. Use Clown Radar and Butterfly Effect to locate the survivors within those 3 generators and pick them off one by one. Essentially this tactic cuts the map to half the size and makes it very hard for the survivors to do much with the 3 remaining generators without you catching them.
a tip i would give for bonky is to take wide swings and not straight up and down swings that way even if they try to duck their head or quickly move the the side you can usually still hit them
For the climb over objects tip, make sure you know which vaults are good, some are much more overpowered than others Actually a pretty good video, good job
my current main one as bonky is tracker butterfly effect and the one that makes the players stamina regen 50% slower this combo has been absolutely brutal and I’ve never lost with it
@@Nausea56 yeah I’m not very high level but I have the same one as you except I use butterfly effect and sabotage and then the fear stamina one it’s so op no one can escape you
Here is a good survivor tip when you hide and Bonky saw you go in wait for him to get in front of the the door and open it. It hits bonky away and you can run
Bonky tip: USE SILLY SNEAK!! When you see a generator being repaired from far away, use the silly sneak ability, and they won’t get the warning of you being nearby! So you can give them a heart attack, and hit someone!
only really works against noobs tho lol, experienced players will just leave and hide once they see the notification for "bonky is sneaking" on their screen. not a bad strategy tho!
@@BrodieGameplays This is exactly why sneak is good- you can use it to kill noobs, or use it to force quit all the experienced players from their generators, possibly making them fail a check
I got tips of my own. 1. People don’t bother going to fixed generators, so you can regroup there 2. People don’t look at sharp corners, so i stay in sharp corners because i know bonky will not look there unless he knows im there. 3.use the corners of the map to get around, I don’t see anybody use them unless i tell them to, so i use them to get from generator to generator without bonky knowing or use them as bonky 4. Dont immediately go to a generator that someone messed up as bonky, they will scatter immediately so theres no point to going there when there will be nobody there. Wait and then go. I hope these will help you
A tip as Bonny rotate the generators 24 7 until you find a player chase them down until they get caged make sure you remember their outfit so you can chase them Radar tip know when to use and save it sometimes you can’t find people on the generators and the percentages are going up use that radar near a generator than rotate between the generators as quick as possible or if you found someone on a generator then bonk them then immediately radar this will tell you where they are and as long as you keep the chase up they will usually not be able to shake you off General Bonky before the game starts remember everyone’s outfit especially the anyone that is level 20 or above tunnel them/target them remember their name and make sure you are ready for a juke Another general bonky tip make sure you check porta potty’s and do it right so you don’t get door rammed I’ll teach you how first go on the side of the porta potty open it sprint in there if there’s someone in there they will be stuck now swing hammer once and twice make sure your in the middle of the porta potty and they are in the very back make sure not to bonk before blocking them and check bushes and under generators some people will glitch under generators so check under them thank you if you read to the end of my bonky tips
Hi just wanted to tell you that in make it to midnight if you glitch into the circular food stands/ ticket stands. There is a secret poster inside that is different to the one on the outside
Pro tip: do it fast because after a certain amount of time it will change to midnight and bonky will become EXTREMELY fast. (Yes, it has something to do with time and midnight) Also, the generators slowly lose power and when they reach 0% again the lights will shut off. One last thing, camping is one of the worst ways to play bonky. The survivors can just go to other generators/gates without any problems. (Also it’s just so damn annoying)
Another tip turn off music in settings it gives you better hearing so if your bonky it much eaiser to hear or you are surviver you can hear bonky if he getting closer or futher
There is, infact, a timer system. After some time in the game bonky will know your exact location at all times but you will be able to leave the fare, don’t know how to open the doors yet though, just some light up buttons that do nothing.
Bro there is a thing where you can. Make it to midnight because if you take to long to escape/ get we won after a wile the text midnight approaches bonky is faster and if you tan too much time the game announces, it’s midnight bonky permanently see you know 0:18
An incredibly important tip I find is DON'T HONK THE HORN. Unless you've got escape enchantment and a generator is done you're literally just telling Bonky where you are. The amount of times I've played as Bonky and from miles away I hear *Honka honka honka honka* and I'm like oh they're by the exit cage cool. So when it comes around to "A Survivor has been rescued!" I'm usually on foot to their location cause chances are they're healing each other.
As someone who plays dbd, these tips seem rather familiar. Do you have any tips for managing stamina in chases? By the time I make it to somewhere I could jump over, I'm out of stamina completely. It makes the chases a lot less enjoyable because there's not really a chase. You just get hit and use the speed boost to zoom halfway across the map.
unfortunately no, i think they recently made stamina drain slightly slower but overall there's not a whole lot you can do other than walk normal pace and run when you absolutely have to, or get hit intentionally and run to a teammate for heal :/
@@BrodieGameplays shame, that's pretty much my biggest complaint overall. Pretty much feels like going against a legion but without the cool music to make up for the lackluster gameplay
it sounds less like a management problem and more of a lack of being able to get away. when you’re getting chased go through tight corners or even better have pre planned routes you can get to
One tip is memorize the map bc you can use this to your advantage as Bonky and as a survivor, for example I bonked someone and they were running through where the purple gen is and I went around the building and they went to me and easy kills that way
Oh and if you use radar when you bonk the person twice and they are the best player, you can see where they are caged and you can camp that cage so they will die
I would be against the whole jumping backwards to avoid using staminda just because that's an exploit and it's important to use good sportsmanship in games like this. Bonky should not tunnel someone as it gives everyone all the time to do generators. Camping in general is not good because there are other generators they could work on, it's better to come up with a patrol pattern and stick with it. Another tip is to actually walk during your chases. Yes, vaulting/clambering uses 40 stamina. However, you only need a minmum of 5 to actually clamber. Walk during chases to let your stamina recharge and clamber again.
One more thing I’ve seen this WAY to many times as bonky,BONKY CAN OPEN THE LOCKERS ITS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO HIDE WHEN BEING CHACED WHEN HE CAN EASILY SEE YOU GO IN
If you see a generator light flicker USE SILLY SNEAK If you don't they will get notified your near and get away if only one person is on a generator go behind and use silly sneak and you'll atleast get a hit on them
I meant that "making it to midnight" doesn't do anything for the survivors other than bonky being faster, thereby making it so that the goal of the game isn't making it to midnight but rather restoring generators to escape, making the name of the game not make sense
DISCLAIMER: These tips are rather outdated and were only really relevant during the first few months of the make it to midnight release.
For the generators, the lights turn on and flicker if the generator is at least 1%. When a generator is completed, the lights will stay on and not flicker.
thank you 😅 As me and my friends were on a tight schedule we weren't really able to test everything lol

As Bonky, it's helpful to pick perks and abilities that complement each other. For example, using Danger in Numbers to identify an occupied generator, then using Silly Sneak to get over there in secret, or using the radar when they scatter.
Use Escape Enchantment to honk a horn for 4 minutes after fixing one generator. Boom, max xp for the round.
