Purchased one myself 2 months ago. My first real boat I'd say. Always hsd jon boats. Hopefully its a good one. Looking forward to veiwing other videos.
Bought this model and had a bunch of fun on it.great for both inshore and offshore.had it out to 45 miles offshore and it takes waves very good.good luck on the new ride.
3:19 .... Thank you ! While watching this morning, my wifeee overheard you talking about "thrust and shaft"...... It lit that little fire and she prompted me to put your clip on hold for about 20 minutes..... If ya know what I mean??? THANKS
Sea Hunt makes a very nice boat! I use collonite products above deck for longest lasting waxes and crab shell below deck to keep all the mildew from forming. I use 303 on all cushions etc. Im pretty sure dealer only washed b4 delivery with no protection. Congrats!
You better baby the rear seats, because Sea hunt and Carolina cushions may never give you a replacement. I'm going on 3 years trying to get them to send me a replacement. The hardware in mine did not hold up - Boat started having the issues 7 years in.
Hey Brent, Now that you've had it a short while, could you give your honest opinion on how the 22 bx handles in the rough/nasty stuff? Have you had it off shore on a nice day? Or ran into some 3 + footers yet?
The boat handles chop very well and can take rollers pretty good for its size. I wouldn't recommend going too far offshore in anything bigger than 2 footers. The furthest offshore I've taken it was 17 miles on a flat calm day
Awesome boat man, I pulled the trigger on my dream boat yesterday. Bx25 fs. Delivery will be june 2022 🤞. Question for you , I added the jack plate same as you altho I dont really fish that shallow but read about the better mpg and top speed benefit with jack plate. Never owned a boat with jack plate before but I also read online that I need to have a water pressure gauge to keep eye on the engine water pressure or to keep eye on the engine when I pull the jack up to make sure the water intake is under water…. I kinda feel its a complicated proccess , whats your thoughts about that? From the photos, looks like even if I puled the jack plate all the way up, the engine footer will still be in the water, no? Also for someone who wont fish shallow, jack plates still useful on thr bx25? Last thing, My lift has shallow water under it. So every inch count, . Does the jack plate add weight on the transom and will affect the draft? Thanks.
Bottle opener??? Yaaa I learned my lesson bringing glass on a boat.. Have fun cleaning up glass in the cooler or on the deck. But great boat great motor.
Would love to hear how this fishes offshore. While not a dedicated offshore boat, I would like to know how it handles the ride as well as the experience fishing. I will never get the bottle opener on Sea Hunts though. Most folks don’t allow bottles on their fishing boats.
This boat handles chop extremely well and also handles rollers fairly well. The furthest I've had it offshore was 17 miles on a calm day. As far as fishing, it's amazing. I've caught everything from redfish and tarpon to sailfish and grouper on this boat. We've had 5 people fishing offshore on it and it didn't feel too crowded at all
Better feeling than a kid on Christmas morning, huh? Congratulations, looks like an awesome boat. Better check on that chart plotter though, way too expensive to be acting up like that.
My family had a sea hunt bx 22 br back when I was in high school so I was already pretty familiar with the boat. I honestly believe it's the best bay boat you can get for the price. Also, the service at my local Promarine is awesome which was a big factor for me
How are you liking the boat? I am torn on what I want to buy. I love your boat but I was also thinking about getting the ultra. Only reason to consider the ultra is because I will be going to 2 different islands that are 4 to 7 miles out. I live in MS. How does your boat handle the water when it’s rough?
What did you end up getting? I'm considering getting an Ultra now but am worried it may not live up to the fishing end of the equation but my wife and daughters love the comfortable ride and generous front of boat seating.
Congrats Brent....I have the BX20 and love it. Maybe see ya out there sometime. I use that same ramp 90% of the time. My BX20 is all white / no powder coat and a 10' white power pole / 80 lb MinnKota. If I see ya out there, I'll say hi. I got mine from Land O' Lakes Marine though. The map does that sometimes when sitting still as it's trying to find the direction you are pointed. As soon as you start moving it is still.
Damn bro, this is a lot bigger than the boat that I saw you with at the causeway haha. Very, very nice man !!! Congrats on the new addition to the channel.
Ive been in one of these before. They’re nice but if I was going to spend $83,000 on a bay boat I totally would have went with a Key West. I’ve been in a 250 Bay Reef and we own a 196 Bay Reef. I like them better.
Just came across this video after asking what boat you have. Derp, guess I should have searched through your videos first. This boat is badass.
Purchased one myself 2 months ago. My first real boat I'd say. Always hsd jon boats. Hopefully its a good one. Looking forward to veiwing other videos.
Congratulations on the new boat! I’m impressed with all the features that it has. 👍🏻
The five gallon bucket storage is awesome, great idea to hold your cast net.
Hey I've had my 225 Seahunt Ultra for about a year and couldn't be happier. Good choice.
Why did you pick sea hunt over other brands? I ask cause I am thinking about picking one up as well the 234 ultra or 239SE ultra they are in my top 3
I just ordered a bx22br last week. Same set up as yours, but with Garmin charplotter. Can't wait for you to post more videos.
dude, so happy for you. I've been a huge fan of your videos and you deserve this! enjoy that beauty
Thank you!
with that being said, when you taking me out? 🙏🤣
Nice boat lots of storage got to have it. Enjoy the new boat ✌
Love Sea Hunt Boats. I have a 2016 Triton 188 and I am very satisfied.
Are used to sell them. Amazing boats....but they have gone up in price tremendously...They used to have a 28 CC that was phenomenal
Congrats man! We love our Sea Hunt, I know you’ll get a lot of great use out of that bad boy
That boat is amazing! I really like the features. I'd kind of would like an additional engine. Yes, I know. All it takes is money.
Congrats! Sweet boat, can't wait to see your upcoming videos.
Congrats, looking forward to the upcoming videos with the boat.
great job ... you got a wonderful boat for Florida
Bought this model and had a bunch of fun on it.great for both inshore and offshore.had it out to 45 miles offshore and it takes waves very good.good luck on the new ride.
Is the vee deep enough for rough water?
how shallow have u gotten it
3:19 .... Thank you !
While watching this morning, my wifeee overheard you talking about "thrust and shaft"...... It lit that little fire and she prompted me to put your clip on hold for about 20 minutes..... If ya know what I mean??? THANKS
It's gorgeous!!!!!Congratulations brotha👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Congratulations, I really like what your doing. Keep up the hard work.

Better feeling than a kid on Christmas morning, huh? Congratulations, looks like an awesome boat. Better check on that chart plotter though, way too expensive to be acting up like that.
I hadn't been that excited in a long time! And the simrad hasn't done that since I filmed this video so I think it's all good
Congrats man

There are many places I can't go with the boat that I'll still be using the kayak for!
@@SeeYaDude thats great man

I just throw it behind the leaning post livewell while I'm running and put it up on the deck when I get to where I'm going
Would u go offshore in that?
Only on super nice days. I've had it 15 miles out and I think the max I would take it out is around 20
