To anyone hating on BCA, they rock, I love all mine, just some things you should do with every upper you buy verify the handguard is secure, clean and lube before running. The only complaint I really have is the side chargers, mine have not failed but if it did I would not have a spare BCG. So I opt for the rear chargers. You should have extra BCGs anyway, I throw toolcraft in mine and save BCA's as backups.
I like it! 🤘🏻Yes, “It does the things. What else ya want from one?” The 12.5 is my favorite of several variations, it just feels awesome. It seems to be the perfect middle ground of length & accuracy/ velocity, at least where I’m at. “Get out there & use it”
I have had good luck with both BCA and PSA I love the side charging from BCA ... The AR10 BCA loves to be ran dripping wet hopefully it will improve ...
BCA would be a lot more consistent if they'd focus on platforms that are dialed in. Small frame 556/300blk, and large frame 308/6.5. Id bet most issues come from the more niche stuff. I'm curious about a 556 upper myself, but I wouldn't trust one until I really veted it. I'm that way with most things though.
I have a Windam Weaponary 12.5 and it has been excellent . I have a little 7.5 PSA and for a truck / bag gun it is a little beast . 12.5 has alot more rds on it over the 7.5 but there is over 1000 + on the 7.5 with no issues.
I own 5 bca offerings, and I prefer them to my Daniel defense and my Windham. They are badass guns and affordable. People often mix up cheap and affordable. Affordable don't always mean cheap in quality.
The quality seems to have definitely improved from 4 years ago, I did some tweaks and mine runs smooth. Question, what does the barrel crown look like? I ask because many who make ar-15's often leave that important step out.
Big fan of BCA! Good review.

I like BCA’s t-shirts. They’re pretty high quality.
