Watching Ricardo Gareca’s Peru was amazing, Peru in the 2015, 2019, and 2021 Copa America was entertaining, I kind of wanted them to win. Also he helped them qualify for the 2018 World Cup, which was their first in around 36 years. It’s disappointing to see how them losing now.

Uruguay is my winner. Strong double pivot Ugarte-Valverde with De La Cruz in front as a 10. Brazil is in bad form and most importantly, they've never played together. Argentina's recent trophies causes decompression. Colombia's undefeated streak will play the most attractive football and they might go deep, but I see Uruguay as the most efficient squad. Darwin Nuñez might struggle a bit for Liverpool (even that's somewhat debatable), but he's a killer for his country.
I agree. If you watched their last WC qualifying games you know what they are capable of. If they are able to maintain the pace they had against Argentina and Brazil they will be very hard to beat. Their speed and high press are very hard to deal with. Like you said as well when Darwin puts on the blue shirt his game improves. It's like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with the blue shirt being the potion.
