- Jester tells a tale, but how far off-course will the retold story sail? The cast of Critical Role gives the game "telephone" a story-telling twist when Laura Bailey records a Wildemount story, passing it on to a cast member who can watch it only once before retelling it to another who passes it on, and so on! How much of the story will survive the chaos?

I completely forgot that Jester has the ability to say 10,000 words in the span of 10 seconds
yet she is only allowed 25 words with send message, kinda unfair.

As soon as Laura started in, it explained all of the reaction clips at the beginning. You just know it's all going to go off the rails immediately with all the extraneous details and story going every which way but the point.

I love that Laura started with "if you eat the plum, you will be stuck in the grove forever" and later Taliesin calls it the Persephone Plum.

Matt usually: Master of Improv, perfect eloquence when acting and storytelling, makes 4 page monologues without a stutter in the wildest accent.

To be fair it is actually perfect eloquence because Laura had her story with corrections. It's a Jester thing to do.

The first story was very vague at the end and had some mistakes and corrections

It's kind of funny how the Elysian fruit came full circle back to Greek mythology, since Laura clearly based it off of the pomegranate that Persephone ate.
Actually Persephone isn’t a goddess of the underworld, only the queen of. A goddess of the underworld would Hecate, goddess of magic and doorways.
I love how Travis remembering the Hippogriff's name sounds straight out of Rick and Morty: "Schmooltzy Schoorply Shultzy Schmoop Schmooply"

Ashley has a tendency to cull details she can't get 100% precise, while Sam goes "fuck it" and completely disregards the line between his faulty memory and details he comes up with on the spot.

I love the fact that because of the “that’s just one story” tag, Jester is implied to be telling all of these stories straight in a row.
Matt and Laura could write a bed time children book called "The traveler's bed time tales" with illustration of a child jester playing with the traveler on her room.
Ackley Heard It also implies that The Traveler told her stories beginning with a monologue where he pretended to be her pretending to be him.

I just really loved that Laura's original story was referencing Ank'Harel, and it's secret dragon ruler, J'mon Sa Ord. But Liam immediately decided no we're not going with that, it's all staying local in Wildemount.

I absolutely died when Taliesin randomly called it the Persephone plum despite the "stay in the grove forever" having been totally lost.
Also, when Liam just totally gives up on the hippogriff's name. And the fact that you ride on the hippogriff's back completely disappears.
couple of things:
1) taliesin's squawk laugh is the greatest thing i've ever heard
2) i wanna know how many times marisha has accidentally smacked matt while laughing
3) we were really close to getting a hippogriff with a name playing off 'boning' and i will never let that go
4) everyone's reaction to 'persephone plum' was beautiful
