    Good review thanks, looking forward to mine arriving, hopefully in the next few days (the typhoon caused delays) but tracking is now showing as left sorting facility, and is in transit to next facility), unsure how long it will take to get to new zealand, from there) i went for the 5k version too.
    Wonder if they really are a limited edition, or will continue to be made and sold after the 2999 number is reached.(are they numbered?)
    Love my x75, which only just fits in my coat pockets, which is great for when i want lots of light, but this will likely replace my sofirn if22a, as my always in pants pocket torch, so this very likely it will get used a lot more than it.(i like my sr32 too, buts it's just too big and heavy to take a lot of the time).

    Which one is the best? What would you buy today in 2024? I can see that the Loop one seems to be no longer available

    • @protechteus
      @protechteus  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Acebeam M1 and LOOP has similar LEP beam quality (high CRI led version has better LEP lens, idk why) which is great. M1 is more like a tool, while LOOP is a gadget, great for collection.

    Nice comparison! Zoomie LEPs look like a lot of fun. 😂 Acebeam W50, LOOP SK01s, and now the Acebeam M1 👀

      there is (or was) also Amutorch BT55 - big zoomable LEP with excellent maximum range and ugly zoomed out beam 🤢 Still in my collection.

    hello, i am interested in this acebeam m1. I am new to lights and not so familiar with upgrades and components. Can you tell me what the nichia 5000 floodlight does opposed to the regular option 6500k ?

    • @protechteus
      @protechteus  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      5000K will be warmer looking light, while it will be less bright, because of high CRI feature (better color reproduction, close to sunlight), but 6500K is stronger and more efficient. It depends what are your needs: If you want a lot of light only, take 6500K, If you want more pleasant light, take 5000K.

    Pytanie posiadam Olight Marauder 2 czy warto przesiasc się na Nitecore P35i

    • @protechteus
      @protechteus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      niestety nigdy nie miałem Maraudera w rękach, więc nie mogę się wypowiedzieć, ale z drugiej strony w Olighcie jest LED, a w Nitecore LEP, przez co świeci dalej. Gdyby p zasięg chodziło to warto.
      Jakby co to mam P35i do sprzedania za 1000zł, stan idealny, po recenzji.

    The LEP-part produces too much spill (seen on the white floor), even when focused to the smallest angle. This optic is not as precise as i whish for. Additionally the formfactor is horrible and you have to hold this block in an unstable position because the ON-/OFF-switch is placed in the most stupid position, completely opposite to where one's thumb is resting. With a weapon-mount this thing might be usefull but handheld, the ergonomics are no good.

    • @protechteus
      @protechteus  ปีที่แล้ว

      you don't find spill useful?

    • @Vorname_Nachnahme
      @Vorname_Nachnahme ปีที่แล้ว

      @@protechteus Not with a supposed to be precision-instrument like a "laser"-beam. If a user needs beam AND spill, Acebeam should have installed a LEP-plus-LED switchology. Maybe with a M2-version they will do better ... ^^

  • @quickcuts3000
    @quickcuts3000 ปีที่แล้ว

    acebeam makes great lights, but this one is just too big imo. focusing LEP is novel and fun, but not at that head diameter...
    seems like acebeam wanted to make a "tactical coolfall", looks like a success!

    • @protechteus
      @protechteus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's too big for summer, but perfect for winter. I wish they could do another version of this light, 14500 fueled with single led and small LEP like Lumintop Antman.

    • @hdcrb6555
      @hdcrb6555 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you would have taken 2 lights on a trip (flood with good CRI + LEP), than the M1 is rather compact. It really depends on what you want it to be.

    • @quickcuts3000
      @quickcuts3000 ปีที่แล้ว

      this is the case with all double head lights (like niwalker etc). yes they do two/three things very well, indeed. but compared to the near-limit flexibility of two separate torches, double heads still seem like a stiff compromise imo. a double headed light is probably more cumbersome than two separate lights in many applications. @@hdcrb6555
