The level of riding from everyone was incredible. Felt like I had to do my Best Trick just to make finals!
Thanks for always smashing these out so fast Fudger!👊🏼
madman
Can't believe the 360 double flip got you 1st in semi but same run was 3rd in finals! Crazy level of riding from you and everyone for that matter!
but the level of the judges is incredibly low😆. they probably judge by the wow effect of ordinary people, when they prefer circus riders to technically much more difficult tricks of riders who end up off the podium🤡🙈
Did a world's first in dirt but ended up still 3rd, meanwhile the 1st place has done same old combos multiple times already.. judges are 🤡🤡
@@dr3iii Dude backflip triple whip is a hard trick. The double backflip 360 is harder, however Ryan's frontie no hander was a filler trick and probably didn't score as high.
That was insane!! Fimally jumps that let riders show their best. Runs were like 3 best tricks in a row!!!
those were some huge sets from those guys that didn't even make the top 8 goddamn.. kinda strange judging though, at least they got the top 3 right imo. that 360 double backflip is actually such a crazy huck
No airbags up in this bltch
Great angles, beautiful images, excelent compilation. Tks bro! Awesome!
The level of progression in bmx, specifically dirt, is simply unmatched!! Guys are pulling tricks beyond "video game tricks." They're pulling stuff that didn't seem physically possible a short while ago. Im in my mid 40's and our crew grew up doing everything. Bmx, skate, moto, surfing.. you name it. During a break at work i showed a lifetime friend the footage from the last triple crown. To say he was blown away is an understatment. "Man, ive been busy the last few years growing the business. I havent had time to keep up with things. These guys are freaking insane..." Now, he's sending me clips all week. "Have you see this? Check this guy". Its just so impressive, us dinosaurs who grew up in the 80s sometimes have a hard time even comprehending how wild things have gotten. Hell, i got my 95yo nan w dementia into watching bmx dirt contests before she passed away. I cant wait to see what the future holds for these young cats
The most INSANE dirt event ever? The level of riding was like nothing I've ever seen before.
So much more speed this go round
R Willy is not cranking once, what an animal!
These dudes are on another level!
Holy canoli! Thats some good riding
Jumps are much better than the first two events
Coincidentally, this is the first event where there was no rain in the days leading up.
@OurBMX the jumps were also much bigger
Parking lot was also crazy downhill so we could build them bigger
@@truemanbmxThanks for that info! It definitely cleared up a lot of my confusion (on the difference in size and speed) 👍.
the riders put on an epic show.
thanks for sharing our bmx.
Judges need to stop scoring buckworth so high for the same 3 tricks lmao it’s just getting ridiculous now
It’s crazy.
Man that oppo-360 backflip from
Brian fox was sick looking!
After watching again I can’t help but agree with everyone saying the judging was weird. The top 3 did the exact same runs in finals and qualifying only difference is Brady threw a 720 double bar on the last set in finals vs and 720 single bar in qualifying. If that set Brady up from 3rd to first that’s more understandable than Willy getting dropped to third and toohey to second. I’d really like to hear how the judges came to the conclusion they did.
So good! Thank you @Our BMX
With all due respect, Andy buckworth is a good rider. But there’s no way he should’ve placed so high in this competition.
The few riders before him put down some insane tricks and deserved a higher spot.
I don't think he's done a trick that's not a flip or double flip ever during the triple crown. Cant believe im gonna say this, but it's kinda stale when you look how gnarly everyone else is and how deep their bag of tricks is. He's holding himself back by limiting his tricks. Odd choice
he’s putting tricks into the double flips though which literally no one else is 🤷
yeah i agree completely. hes been doing the same tricks every single event. its predictable and boring after a while. idk why these judges favor him so much@@assaultlick2169
i mean is a no hander really that big of a trick in a double flip? i mean, its not really adding any variety to his runs @@Corb13
@@Corb13Ryan William disagrees with ya
Judging was like the Grammys judging, the first 12 dudes put down some insane runs!
Great coverage as always!
Sandoval breaking my heart once again
Always loved him. So smooth.
He’s starting to stop relying on decades as a go to as well which is good to see
He always makes mistakes
@@justinwalpole8956umm what 😂 where is the mistaked u mean hes the most technical in the air
Amazing riding
Tooheys run was insane.
Can someone explain how andy always scores so high he only does DBs, Brices DBs were way bigger
Ryan Alien Wilians
Dude about time we get some good jumps for the boys
Qué bueno saludos desde armenia Quindío Colombia
Brady absolutely deserved the dub. What an insane run. Had it all. You see most guys either sticking with more bars/whips/spins or guys doing mainly flips. Brady had everything in one collected run. So sick to see him put it all together.
Go max !
Buckworth showing no evolution, yet again. 4th for a run we've seen ten thousand times is insane. The judges must like mundane repetition.
Thanks for the coverage as always!
Although I agree. He's one of the only riders doing variations in double flips. And there's a reason why. It's rediculous.
This announcer does my head in. Watched it in silence but turned it up to hear mr foxes tire pop
yea Brady, represent TIC
Was that Matty on the mic?
Very deserving win from Brady Baker, he just looks so damn relaxed and smooth while doing such insane tricks. Also, is it mental to anyone else that double flips are now just a filler trick between the actual gnarly tricks. It's crazy. Jai Toohey, Rwilly, Buckworth and more are just floating dub flips so they can get to their real combos haha
I mean how much further can BMX progress? I asked myself that 20 years ago but this time after watching this contest I just don’t know. Every rider was absolutely sending it.
I'm 45 and bmx dirt blows my mind every comp. It's insane
Brian should be higher
it seems that bmxers took a nick out of slopestyle for riding in big ass dirt jumps,if you want a good example just compare Baker and Sandoval runs to Emil Johansson and Dawid Godziek runs in recent crankworx,it's neat
Brian Fox opposite 1080 crazy....
I dunno about the triple challenge anymore… judging seems, interesting, now 😬
I think judging was fine. Even though I'm always rooting for willy, brady's run had 3 sick tricks, while Ryan had a frontie no hander as filler trick.
@@FOWSTBrady’s cashroll is the absolute most disgusting excuse for a cashie I’ve ever seen performed
@@-Mintyy no idea what's wrong with all you haters. Some of you hate tailwhips, others hate everyone that isn't kevin peraza, some hate on buckworth, some hate on "foam pit warriors" and the list goes on and on...
@@FOWSTIt's Bucky that's the issue... 3 non rotational flip tricks is just blah. Regardless of the no hander tossed in the first double.
@@obsidian.... I somewhat agree, but I didn't wanna be a judge either.
Does anyone else feel like RWilly gets duped in every triples event? He’s bringing tricks that no one else does with so much precision and execution.
Vote #1 for Ryan Williams the people’s choice!
maybe it's becaus of two frontflips in a raw? (yes, i know they are bangers) judges had to nitpicking with so many banger runs
@@wiktorkhe didn’t do two front flips in a row though? He did a 360 double backflip then a front flip tuck no hander then a double backflip. He should have at the very least got second place.
guys its ok to like willys, just dont force your philosophy into me
@@lionbrown__ nobody is forcing any philosophy on you lmao just saying that Willy’s run was way more difficult than tooheys.
@@nickfosnight3137 exactly. The way I look at it, Willy could have don’t their run but unlikely they could do his.
am i tripping or is that matty announcing?
It was!

I have no idea how they are judging these things. It feels so inconsistent... It would be great to have a video that explains the breakdown of scoring...
.
I know there's going to be a big chunk of it that is subjective, but for the other 2/3rds (?) if there is a list of something like points per trick, bonus for switch etc it would be really cool to know...
Imagine doing a 1080 barspin and a 720 barspin to look back and a double backflip and not getting a podium
I don’t think fox landed the 1080 bars pin or he absolutely would have got podium
was a 720 bar and a 1080 without bar
He fell, unfortunately. I’d wager it would have been a winning run.
Definitely smoking crack.
@@FOWST11:40 definitely threw a bar in that 1080
Why did Quinny come last 😂
Anyone else miss when BMX dirt had style and creativity, rather than just insane acrobatics and deadly hit or miss stunts?
It’s not the early 2000s anymore 🤷🏽♂️ you do a style trick run these days you aren’t making it out of qualifying it’s a throwaway run
no, don't miss straight airs and tabletops
who casted this? He sounds like Matty Cranmer
Scotty, his older brother. You could see him at the end when they're holding the trophies. I miss watching him ride. He was a hitter before his accident. Dude's lucky he can walk. I guess I shouldn't say lucky, he worked really hard with PT and had to relearn how to walk. True G
Sorry but Brady IS NOT doing a cashroll by any stretch of the term. I feel like as years have gone by judges have gotten more and more lenient on what’s considered a cashie as they’ve gotten more and more underflipped. It’s so clearly just a corked spin like wtf am I crazy?
All are extremely talented, but I wish the judges would stop counting a 720 whip as a cashroll whip-Baker is not going upside down after the 180. This is like playing a game of BIKE and counting a table as an invert-if the bike isn’t upside down, it doesn’t count because the trick wasn’t done. RWilly and Toohey did their tricks properly and Baker was awarded for something he didn’t do.
I can’t hit these doubles. I’m just advocating for the guys who do their tricks while others are awarded for tricks they’re not doing.
Thank you for the video, time, and effort Our BMX.
Exactly what I came here for and glad to see someone else mention it. He IS NOT doing a cashroll by any stretch of the term. I feel like as years have gone by judges have gotten more and more lenient on what’s considered a cashie as they’ve gotten more and more underflipped.
Brian fox got robbed placing so low. Definitely should’ve been higher. Andy gets a skip every time he come so screen. You can skip it already know what he doing. Baker 720 bar to bar was the smoothest I have ever seen. Jaie and Willy killed it also. A lot of people that placed lower should be higher in general. Too many of the same tricks in the top spot.
Willy should have at LEAST got second place. I think Brady baker getting 1st was fair. But what toohey did wasn’t better than Willy’s run.
Front flip no hander on the 2nd jump was a filler trick, I think that's why he's only third. Also he's been winning a lot of competitions, I think the judges are looking for opportunities to not let him win by default and give others a chance.
@@FOWST and at this point double flip and the nothing front bike flips are fillers for toohey lol but you just confirmed my point by saying the judges probably just wanted someone else to win which would mean they purposely stiffed Willy so that someone else would get above him.
@@nickfosnight3137 By that logic willy had 2 filler tricks. For him, double backflip is a filler. I also don't consider the bike flip to be a filler for anyone, even though toohey has them dialed.
daniel really needs more tricks in his bag. can only downwhil flip whip so many times
Andy Buckworth more so
Uhh he definitely does more then most😂
Leandro moreira desumilde e fraco de mas
I'm so so happy that Daniel Sandoval came 9 what a stuck up rider he is
If that is what makes you smile and why you must be a real classy person yourself.
Of course I am I don't have my head up my ass
R willy got robbed
I think Brady deserved to win this, but his style is kinda gross. Doesnt make the tricks look good like Toohey and stuff.
busted ass comment, you must have him confused with Jake Leiva
He looks robotic and statistical. Also his “cash rolls” are absolutely atrocious and not at all a cash roll. These judges really don’t want Ryan winning all the time is how it feels tbh bc he should have gotten 1st or maybe 2nd and then with best trick he would have won overall.
How did Ryan get 3rd are these judges brain dead
Mikey is ill
A double backflip gets you 12th place huh? Yeah there no incentive for kids to get into bmx anymore if this is what is led to believe you are meant to be doing. Bring back the old metro jams where anyone could ride and enter and doing mid school tricks will only be what is judged high. Then watch Tom justice be world champion.
I dunno. Seems like there’s a lotttttt of favoritism. I’m kinda over the r Willy hype.
lol it's not hype. Its talent, skill and dedication.
@@Solidofzuljin he’s talented yes. But as far as a dirt contest he’s a stunt man so it’s easy for him to win. Point is there’s a lot of Talent there who deserve to place much higher
@@mikedevlin_bmx2446Is there really a difference over who can spin the most vs who can flip the most?
More entertaining watch than someone just adding another decade, bike or bar spin.
Also he didn’t even win.
@@mikedevlin_bmx2446certified hater just looking for clout
@jtorola totally agree. This whole spin to win or add another barspin or tailwhip is kinda bs. R willy has sooooo many tricks that no one else can even fathom and he is not getting rewarded for it. That is happening in the mountain bike world too with nicolai r. They are soooo ahead of everyone else, that they start mak8ng rules or excuses why someone else should beat them
