    If there is no compulsion in religion then how does apostasy and blasphamey laws play into it ?

    I love that this guy is actually using real examples to respectfully explain his point. Idk what Douglas Murray is is trying to gain by citing false information about Islam. Why not just take a minute to see the teachings for what they are instead of intentionally spreading hate. We need more of this content 👏👏👏

      Fr. So many people are learning useless things like philosophy or semantics instead of focusing on Islam itself like learning Quran, Aqeedah, tawheed etc. If someone learns the fundaments of islam, he will have no problem talking to these people.

    Okay I haven't watched this specific video but what I don't understand, why is wrong to oppose islamofascism? There are literally people talking about islamifying non-muslim countries and imposing Sharia law. Why should non-muslims have to put up with such disrespect? Imagine if non-muslims did that in Muslim countries. We respect Islam and Muslims, not islamofascism and islamists like Anjem Choudhary, Daniel Haqiqjatou etc.
    Practise islam in non-muslim countries like other minorities without disturbing the indigineous population and laws

    Amazing Video!!
    Humble suggestion:
    Please put the original reference by the side while the presenter talks. If someone is being quoted (Karen Armstrong in this case) or a hadith or any historical event is discussed, just provide the screenshot of the original document. It will be easier for the viewers. Otherwise it takes me a lot of time to find that original references ;)
    JazakAllah

    3:52 No compulsion in religion yet you’ve dhimmis? What was the jizyia tax based upon according to Surah 9:29? Does that sound to you like no compulsion in religion? And why of you killing ppl for leaving Islam if there’s no compulsion in religion? Seems Douglas has a more Pragmatic understanding of your religion than you yourself.

    • @TariqMahmood-qs5wx
      @TariqMahmood-qs5wx 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Lol I feel like you don't even know the role of Dhimmis and what they are. In actuality, an Islamic government needs to have tax, but the Muslim tax is separate, because it also taxes assets. Thus, Dhimmis are a protected class which pay Jizya. Read the plethora of books written on the case of Jizya, many instances arose in history, even within the life of the Holy Prophet, where Jizya was altogether forgiven as a tax, or reduced significantly. Add to that, the fact that many times, as noted in The Cambridge companion books to Islam, that Jizya was often lower than ZAKAT tax, the Muslim tax. Add to that, when a non-Muslim entity paid Jizya, they freed themselves of the obligations of protecting the country through military service, whereas Muslims paid more tax and STILL had to serve in the military. Don't take my word for it, take the word of the Christian city of Homs which was estatic when Muslims imposed Jizya (since the Romans kept ransacking them) and cried when the Muslims had to strategically abandon it. Take the example of Egypt in the time of Caliph Uthman, who requested the Muslims to once again invade and defeat the Romans because the Romans ransacked the entire country!
      All to say, you have no idea what you're talking about. Jizya is vastly different.
      I'm attaching an article below, a section of which is devoted to answering the question of Jizya. Please be sincere, and look at it. You'll find the truth:

      @@TariqMahmood-qs5wx Muslims rationale often baffles me, it’s only you guys that outrightly try to justify inhumane practices of your religion and try to gaslight people into thinking that those who criticize it are just slandering Islam out of hate or misconceptions. Which left me wondering if you guys don’t really understand your religion or is that Islam has ruined your moral discernment?
      We all know from the Islamic corpus that jyzia is a sign of humiliation for being a disbeliever(kaffir) it’s a tax imposed on especially the Jews and Christians to demonstrate their humiliation and subjugation under Islamic supremacy, it’s not just only a tax it has it’s connotations.
      You said jyzia is smaller than zakat? I do like to see a reference from your Islamic texts bcos from my knowledge about Islam there’s nothing that states the jyzia are necessarily smaller than zakat. That said I find it utterly ridiculous how you try to equate the jyzia and zakat as if they’re the same thing, they’re obviously not. Zakat is part of your willful religious obligation as a Muslim, jyzia is a coerced tax of humiliation and subjugation for being a dhimmi. The so called protection that supposedly comes with jyzia is a complete hoax, how can you forcefully invade and occupy people’s lands and at same time claim you’re protecting them? Apparently you’re protecting them from yourself bcos they never invited you for a protection.
      Furthermore the dhimmi status comes with a lot of other humiliation than just paying jyzia, As a dhimmi you basically live under Islamic apartheid law institutionalized under shariah, where non Muslims are being segregated and treated as inferior to Muslims.
      As dhimmi, your life is worth half of that of a Muslim(Diyah) you’re to first initiate greetings to Muslims, you’re not allowed to bear arms or ride horses, you can’t even fully practice religion, everything has to be regulated and limited under Islamic rules, that doesn’t sound like freedom of religion.
      To you this is just yet you cry about secular infringement on Islam in the west, aren’t you being hypocritical?

    Why don't you identify the root cause of Islamic terrorism? Why most of the Islamic countries are poor and have alot of social issues?

    • @TariqMahmood-qs5wx
      @TariqMahmood-qs5wx 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What does that even mean? The root cause of terrorism is terror, that's purely it. For example, you have the Indian flag. Are we no to say that every single Hindu who acts out in extremism is representing hinduism? That's a completely absurd statement. All those criminals are not representing Hinduism, plan and simple.
      The reason for the plight of the Muslim countries is due to socio political reasons! Look at Afghanistan, who was fine until the Communists took over. The Americans supported the Taliban, and then later wanted it for themselves. There's examples of terrible countries, but there's plenty of good Islamic countries as well! Every single religion, and even LACK OF RELIGION has had its problems. Look at the atheist position, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, Albania, etc, etc, I don't need to go on, these are some of the largest genocides in history, all done in the name of atheism!
      So I encourage you to re-evaluate your position brother.
