- David Wood (@apologeticsroadshow) has tried to deceive his viewers by trying to convince them that by presenting three cherry picked verses of the Holy Quran, he can somehow encapsulate the Quranic teaching about Jews. He also asserts that the Qurans teachings oppose the Jewish people. Nothing could be further from the truth! In this video, we uncover the deception of David Wood and distinguish Facts from Fiction.

Why not call him out to modern day debate, best way to prove if someone is lying or not, you can debate using facts. I believe he tells the truth 100 percent of the time he shows the Quran verses on screen, which I also have read myself. But he could also be wrong and take things out of context, just as I have seen many Muslims do to the Bible. Out of curiosity why not debate him, we all will learn something.

David’s hate of Islam with ignorance is dangerous. Little knowledge is dangerous. Well explained brother, you smashed the lies. David isn’t following teachings of Jesus (PBUH), as he is misleading Jews to hate Muslims.

David is not far away.... debate him. Christian Prince, Godlogic, Sam Shamoun all debate Muslims. Go there and debate them and post it. Don't sit here shaking and trying to defend Islam. Muslim lantern ran away when God logic surfaced.

Listen I'm a Christian and I don't know who in their right mind wants to listen to David wood when he took a page of the Quran one day and tear it up and put it in his mouth that show me what kind of his personality is I lost respect for him because he wouldn't want nobody to take the pages of the Bible and do something like that. Now there's something I have to disagree all the holy books were written by man the Quran came in 700 years later and let me tell you there are different qurans out there believe it or not and two certain point God has preserved the Bible because even the Quran says it yeah people have messed with it just like they have messed with the Quran if people don't realize there are many different translation now from the Quran you watch what's going to happen in a few more years

In terms of what you said about the Holy Qur’an changing brother, I understand of course you’re a Christian so you don’t believe in the Holy Qur’an, that’s fine you’re still a brother in humanity.
I just want to clear up a misconception. The Holy Qur’an has not been changed, and it is not equivalent to the Bible in terms of authenticity.
The Bible was written in Greek, whereas this is not the language spoken by Jesus (as). This shows that many interpolations can arise because the original language isn’t there. The Holy Qur’an however, is preserved in the original language, Arabic, and has been preserved in writing since the time of the Holy Prophet (sa). We have manuscripts dating back to the time of the Prophet’s companions, and no conflicting Qur’ans.
What you’re talking about, is different dialects in the which the Holy Qur’an was revealed. Muslims believe that the Qur’an was revealed in various dialects for different ways people spoke, however the message was the same, the speech in Arabic was just slightly different, so that was why there were different versions. However, all the people understand what was being said. Fast forward now, the majority of the Muslim world reads the Qur’an in one dialect, the Qureshi Dialect; this is because the Qur’an was codified in this dialect close to 20 years after the Holy Prophet (sa) passed away, and there is no confusion regarding this.
The Bible on the other hand, still chooses to omit certain things, even now. For example, in the verse “this does not come but by prayer and fasting” the word fasting has been taken out of some bibles because they were only found in certain manuscripts.
A biblical scholar named John Mill studied 100 manuscripts of the New Testament, and found over thousands upon thousands of variations within it. Now, that’s 100 manuscripts, but there’s thousands now.
In terms of textual authenticity, the translation point does not hold much weight brother, with due and loving respect. The Qur’an’s translation can be done differently, but the text is not changed. It’s been 1400 years, not a single verse of the Qur’an has been taken out.

Actually, there are different translations but still with the same content except for few 'mistranslations' and it was revealed by God because a person edging on illiteracy like the Holy Prophet (pbuh) could not have brought all these teachings by himself
Much respect to you. But saying, "let me tell you there are different Qurans out there believe it or not" doesn't make it accurate. I don't know if you ever compared the Arabic, but you can pick any couple of copies anywhere and see for yourself. And no worries if you don't know Arabic either; you can listen to different recitations of any chapter online.
The Arabic language has always been alive and well, and Muslims recite and listen to the original Arabic all the time. It is the most read/recited book in the entire world daily (because chapters and portions are recited during prayer- and when it is recited out loud [often from memory], the congregation openly points out and corrects any mistake they notice [also often from memory]).
Opinions or viewpoints on whether it really is verbatim God's word or if the grammatically perfect and poetic Arabic was written by Muhammad (pbuh), who was not only illiterate but also had no legacy of written work are, of course, understandable if you don't believe in Islam. But I don't understand the need to compare the preservation of the Quran and the Bible if the argument is for Christianity- does the Bible even claim it will be perfectly preserved? When 1.5 billion Muslims have found no differences in copies of the Quran, it may justify a bit more than a "let me tell you."
Translations are helpful tools for those who don't know the meaning of Arabic. But I'm not sure how that's relevant unless maybe you were thinking it is similar to the Bible and, for one example, the portions believed to initially be in Aramaic.
There are not different versions of the Quran like there is the Bible, you will never need to ask a Muslim what Quran do you read like you ask a Christian what Bible do you read, there are many qiraat, or recitations of the Quran, but that’s more because of dialects and the way people pronounced certain Arabic words in different parts of Arabia, people should stop treating the Quran as if there are different versions of it in correspondence with the Bible and it’s different versions
Thanks for commenting. I appreciate the fairness. I also do not take seriously "muslim" influencers that do similar things to Wood. The Arabic in the Quran can be traced back to the origin and we (despite the different sects) use the same Arabic quran. But you are correct in that the translation is not equal. This is why I don't buy those Barnes and Noble quran w/o the Arabic. I find the English translation so cringey

The problem with most chrsitians is that they don't read for themselves but they have their pastors read to them claiming they may not be filled with the holy ghost therefore they may not understand. Nevertheless, I urge my chrsitians friends to read the Quran for themselves, this isn't the bible that they need holt ghost and whatever, just your open mind and understanding and focus followed by asking questions that you may not find clear to you.
