Yes they have a global fanbase, but that is a result of their long and decorated history. The Bernabeu is always completely sold out. Your example with Messi & Barcelona is also faulty because they shredded Man Utd in that same CL season and destroyed Chelsea the season prior. In terms of head to head, La liga has more UCL and UEL winners by a significant margin. Even if you just consider UEL winners (if we want to omit Real Madrid and Barca from the equation for the sake of "fairness"), the record stands 14-9 in favor of La Liga clubs. Yes the premier league is more physical but that has not translated into the english league dominance you so ignorantly claim exists.
