This game went from "this is going to be awesome" to "what the holy hell" real quick! Unfortunate they clearly rushed it out before it was ready. You still managed to make it very entertaining like always though. Maybe the developers will watch this and get a wake up call and make some seriously needed improvements. The Merp has spoken! Thou shalt listen!
right? i am so dissappointed... shoulda left the Tech demo setup with modifcations, like it went from "Yeah we love our work" to "Here, have a game. now give us money."

I want to like this game so badly but there are so many game breaking bugs. Part of the game is really polished and well done. The same thing happens to me, I get thrown back to the start of the level or into a room with no door haha The decision to have 'hold grip' for your left hand is such a bad idea, especially for vive users, it kills my wrist after 10 seconds so I dont even use the 2 handed guns, and I was told 'tough shit' its not changing. /rant :D
That's not good if that was the developer's response. Especially for a game that's buggy when you release it. You gotta be prepared for the criticisms; constructive or otherwise.
Legitimate, respectful suggestions shouldn't be met with "tough shit". Even if they don't plan on changing it, the least they could say is "we're looking into all suggestions and take them seriously." That's it.
It does look like a great opportunity to enjoy a VR zombie game. I hope those issues get resolved.
that's exactly what I thought, especially when I was simply asking about the option, I wasn't demanding it or anything like that and thats the response I got. Doesn't make me want to play it a whole lot
I also totally understand its an early release, I expect bugs and hope they get fixed, just wasn't very impressed with the response.
Hey man, I am currently playtesting the game and I thought of the same thing while testing recently. I have now brought this up to the Devs to see what's being done with that. I can only assume that if this is an issue for us then more people may be facing the same issue. I'm sure the Dev didn't mean to offend with the response as it has been a bit of a stressful EA release for them, as well as receiving a lot of negativity from the public that expects the EA to be a fully perfect polished game.
However, I can say that the game is receiving a lot of updates as we go and if you want to keep more up to date on everything that's going on in the game, report bugs or even suggest features for the game in the future, then joining their Discord (I believe you can join through their Steam page) may be a good move as that's how I became a playtester for them. :)
Sorry if I seem like I'm advertising for them, that is not my aim here; I just want to express a little bit of inside opinion of the games development progress. :) Also, expressing my concern witht he non-toggle left hand grip too. ;)
That's good news that you have brought up the same issue, hopefully you get a better response than I did.
I know its early access and they have been under the pump due to the negative reviews, I really like the game and hope it succeeds.
Maybe suggest an option to turn it to toggle or hold grip?
As of right now, he's said no more than the fact that it's intended to be grip rather than toggle; due tot he fact that a lot of people may forget to untoggle to let go. Although, I did suggest to have it as an option in the future possibly for those who need it more, however, I didn't really get much of a response from that.
So, all I could really suggest right now is that if there are enough people to go onto their discord to request for the toggle 2nd hand grab on the relevant channels then there may be a change for them to reconsider it. I hope this helps :)
