This is awesome! I watched most of your WJ videos as I have as a trail truck. I’ve also been into rcs for decades and have about 55 now. Looking forward to your videos on these.
Thanks man! I'm excited to get on track. The stock or RTR class would be pretty awesome also and really help to level out all the cars. Thanks for the view!
You should be practicing with the same stuff you use in the race, especially tires on high grip surfaces like carpet and astro. These small scale buggies can be super twitchy and take a bit of getting used to.
I wonder if you can program the esc motor combo with a regular 2.4 TQI Traxxas reciever and not have to spend over 200 bucks just to get another raido for the mini bs I'm looking to be getting the mini b drag car soon and I can't wait.
Yes you should definatly be able to run this esc motor combo with an extra Traxxas radio and receiver since you can program the ESC with the button on the on and off switch. Thanks for the view!
Man ive been eyeing these things for years and still havent bought one yet. Im building a custom traxxas 4 tec right now with the Vitavon carbon fiber and billet chassis. When that servo craps out on you get the Reefs micro 99
Good tutorial only thing that was annoying was when you kept repeating the practice run tires. Think we understand the 2nd or 3rd time you told us that you like to run the cheap stock tires before running the more expensive competition tires. Thanks keep up the good vids. Wasn't trying to offend you but felt the need to say that about the tires
nice work, btw. I like your content. keep up the good work man, we need more people like you. I'm in OH, and keep my buggy in tip top shape, even when I'm not racing...I'm just a couch potatoe Armchair racer, if you will lol. I'll shutup now
Actually, I would practice with the 'race' tires...cuz if you only practice with the low grip compound, and then you switch to the grippy tires....it's gonna suprise you gonna have roll overs...and all kinds of shenanigans.... You see what I'm saying?
@colestaples2010 I have a reefs 99 micro servo super fast an strong I bought a 3d printed servo mount for the the reefs 99 for the mini t/b 2.0. I paid like 60 or 70 bucks for the servo its amazing how strong an fast that micro servo is. If you are are interested I can try to find the links for ya. Much more out there than you can believe for these little guys MIP makes all kinds of upgrades from HD slipper clutchs ball diffs an cvds.

Keep it up loving it so far
Thanks! I'm excited to start racing again! More videos to follow!
Nice build with the kit. I also do Mini b and T racing but it's stock class only unfortunately. But even using rtr it's still a blast. Have fun!!

Yeah I think the carpet vs. dirt makes a big difference. Thanks for the info and view!

I totally understand! Thanks for the info!
Bummer you can’t get good electronics for it yet
What's wrong with the dynamite system I've been using it for 2 years
@@johnnycash7803 that might be just fine but I’d want a good servo at minimum. Just lacks options for everything
