    Super helpful! I like the idea of laying it all out there and then taking away parts. I'm doing much different kinds of songs so I wouldn't have thought of doing it that way, but I can see how that could speed up the workflow and creativity,

    Bro are verses usually 12 bars in double time ? or you did that for demonstration purposes ?
    Once again thank you for your knowledge man 🙏

    • @Craftmaster3
      @Craftmaster3  8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I make them 12 bars, try making a double time beat with 3 16 bars verses...that shit will be 5:30 long! ALOT of artists opt for the 12 bar verse and the lower in tempo you go using double time you may even start to see 8 bar verses because of how long the songs become.

      Craftmaster Productions lol I noticed that. Shit always threw me off cuz i always felt like the verses were dragging after a while, 2 verses and 2 hooks with an intro were always over 4 mins for me and it didnt make sense.. Thanks man!

      Sorry to revisit this but, Zebra, didn't you cover halftime, double time and whatnot in one of these vids? I can't find it. Has me confused as hell.

    I really appreciate your videos/tutorials. I’ve been using S1 as my DAW for about 5 years, but have mostly used Addictive Drums with other people’s loops for percussions. Thanks to your videos, I’ve been creating a lot more of my own beats. Also, I used your techniques from this video to create chords and melodies for one of the best songs I’ve written this year. Give it a listen if you have time: www.reverbnation.com/edmundsnyder/song/29106407-exactly-what-a-synth-would-say
