  • In this Power Bite, Matt Choi, Mark Bell, Nsima Inyang, and Andrew Zaragoza talk about the benefits of incorporating soft tissue therapy, such as myofascial release, into your daily routine for optimal recovery and pain management. They discuss how traditional methods of stretching and icing injuries can actually restrict blood flow, and how focusing on the other 22 hours of the day rather than just the 2 hours spent in the gym or running can lead to significant improvements in overall health and wellness. They also recommend various products, such as roller eight and roll recovery, that can aid in myofascial release and muscle recovery.

I'm 66 and doing it since 1985. NO ONE was aware of it back then. Today I run pain free after 50+ tough years.

I also put soft balls on my back as I lay on my back. move your back and forth. heals the back faster if you have a bad back

It's short term gain. Need to do it ongoing. Everyone wants a quick fix that lasts for a long time. That's why people down play it

There is no data backing recovery from myofascial release.

I don’t know if that’s true, but even if it is there’s plenty of anecdotal evidence to support it

As far as foam rollers... haven't you seen the knots that your facia are tied up in when the look at cadavers of people who used them?! No no no.

@@MFmadlib15 When dissecting cadavers of people who used foam rollers often, their facia was tied up in knots.

Do you have literature or published articles to look at for this?
