Just seen him on 7/23 in Detroit. This was the 3rd time. The first was on the Radio Kaos tour. Excellent every time. It's hard to believe that was 35 years ago.

Anyway, that would be an interesting project for someone to go back and give the “Momentary Lapse 2019 Remix” treatment to, to kinda try and remove some of the 80s affectations.
this is a major improvement over the recorded version. i really think he should re-do that entire album as there's some good songs there but it is ruined by that awfully-dated production. a lot of albums from that period never sounded good then. "a momentary lapse of reason" was a victim of the sound of the times and the new version is a major improvement. the same can be said for david bowie's "never let me down" as it was great to know that bowie provided a lot of notes and such before his passing as that album felt more direct and you can hear the songs in a much better presentation.
Unfortunately the concept of the album pushed it even further into then-present production fashion. The concept itself is probably a little too dense for a single album, but the songs would certainly stand on their own if not for the production.
I agree! The dated production takes something away from it. Would love to hear it re-engineered or whatever they do with records. It's got some great stuff on it.
This is beautifully presented however it would be nice if we could actually see the stage too and see Roger, it's really dark and I'm not sure I like the constant darkness
@@jtcourtney8858 I get that but people pay serious bucks to see Pink Flyod or in this case, Roger Waters and you know... It almost feels like i'm at the movie theatre just watching a screen/video. You want to be able to actually see the performers too.
He rejiggered this version for the worse, completely destroyed Comfortably Numb, cut the grand finale of Run Like Hell, and replaced Lucius with two extremely subpar background singers. The crowd is the least of the problems with this tour unless adjustments are made, fast.
I hear what he’s going for but it doesn’t hold a candle to the live KAOS version. It like he castrated it… Paul Carrack’s vocal parts are especially missed.
grant arnold 23 hours ago i bought vip tickets and arrived only to find out i was behind the action. great. second row seats. he played to the other side and the stupid people around me clapped furiously when we were gracioulsy blessed with his presence. what a joke! and what a waste of money. the music was great but i felt like i spent a ton of money on a video. it was obscene. he talks a good game of the little man, but i cant help but seeing this stage setup as nothing more than a money grab. what a hypocrite! in fact, i bought not one but two tshirts prior to the concert starting because i was so jazzed. im' almost embarrassed to werar them. the fact that he sold out 360 degrees of viewership and actually made the comment during my concert that" it wasnt sold out, but we didnt sell out" was a laughable thing! put your fans in front of your show! we saw NOTHING mostly but videos! MoneyGrubber!!!!!!!!!! Im turned off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if anyone suggested that they also post the names of police officers who were murdered in the line of duty? Otherwise, it must be considered blatant propaganda. Not Roger….
The difference is that cops are the authority figures. The people who theoretically are supposed to be “protecting and serving” killing people who were hurting no one and were never charged with a crime is appallingly grotesque.
This 360 degree stage does not work. It is no fun going to a concert and looking at the back of their heads except an occasional presence......Seems to me money grubbing to try to sell all seatss. When I go to a concert I want a comprehensive experience of the WHOLE band, not having the singer come around once in a while and the drummer actually facing me for part of the concert. WHAT A JOKE! Moreover, what a jip! The music WAS GREAT, but as far as a concert experience, forget about it. You have video at home. Just not as big. Wow.......

Me too. It has a slightly darker tone than the recording which goes along well with the visuals.

KAOS is such an underrated album -- really wish I would have been old enough to have caught a show on the 1987 tour!
