- Literally stop telling me that 90% of day traders lose in the Forex & Stock market and that's why you shouldn't trade or don't trade. Do you realize how foolish that sounds?
Here are the reasons why....
Did you know you have a better chance at being a successful day trader than being a successful NBA player, actress, or more? Stock market made more millionaires than ANY other job in the world the last decade consistently and yet, all you hear are the pitfalls that come with it. (Like they come with any job) 😂
10% win out of how many!? 1,000,000!?!? That's a BAD thing? 100,000 successful traders is bad??
Break the odds. Regardless of what industry it is. Whether it’s the NBA, being on TV, trading, starting a business… understand that by merely looking at percentages, means you’re psyching yourself out before you go.

90% of traders dont make it because they give up too early, if everybody had the same drive as you, it would be more like 90% of traders make it
That would not be possible.
That’s how the game is supposed to be, there has to be losers in order for us to make money, if not where would we get our money from? if there were more winners than losers the stock market would collapse.
I personally think more like 30-50%

i dont think so because trading is an exchange of value... in order for some one to win someone else has to lose. dedication would simply make the game harder for everyone but we would still prolly have 90% fail

As a aspiring and active day trader. It’s easy to know why 90% of day traders lose.
1. They don’t understand risk to reward.
2. Don’t understand proper research
3. Greed.
4. Don’t accept that losses are apart of the game.
Number 3 fked my whole balance 2 weeks ago bcz of a major winning 3/4 trade streak, I went from +50% balance in a day to almost breaking even at the end of the day, I then had a catastroooophic trade the next evening fml... Ain't going down that greed route again... 💀

in 89' when iwas 7 on my 1st first class flight to Florida imet a NYSE executive on that flight ..we had the coolest interaction...after that flight iknew what iwanted to do with rest of my life, day trade these markets and fly first class til the casket drop ... took me a while to get into the arena of trading bcuz growing up ihad ppl who bad mouthed credit and trading/investing ...they said that's white ppl stuff, thts gambling...all this nonsense that now at 41 I'm finding out this what we all should have been learning since grade school.

Statistically you’re more likely to be a successful day trader than to bench 2 plates but it doesn’t take *that* much effort to achieve that. All it takes is commitment and consistency.
Meh. I’d say more like bench 315-350 (with pause) and squat 500, assuming you’re youngish healthy and male. Healthy guys can achieve this but it takes time.

Edit: and you can apply risk into the equation as well. Risk in trading being your money. Risk in lifting being injury. Minimize risk by building up slowly 👍🏻👊🏻

I seriously don’t understand how so many poeple seem profitable traders in this comment section. I’ve backtested 100s of price action strategies and everyone of them was either breakeven or a little above breakeven in the long run after spread and commissions. What’s the secret?
stick to one strategy
People forget a lot of the failures in day trading are people testing robots, too. People are testing A LOT of robots that don't work, and it's definitely inflating the numbers significantly.

This has nothing to do with it but listen. Your moving average crossover at support and resistant levels work for real. I finally decided to let my trades run. About 90% of youtube gurus say moving average crossovers don't work. It works.
Not all day traders are equally skilled. Try telling the number one NBA prospect that he has a 0.03% chance of making it to the league. He'd probably laugh and say, "No, YOU, who has barely trained at all, have a 0.03% of making it to the league. I, who has trained all my life, have a 99.9% chance of making it to the league."
This is actually crazy that you say this lmao. Only 450 people are in the NBA at one time. About 250 will always have a job as they’re valuable to their team. So only 200 make it out of EVERYONE who thinks they’re 99.9% gonna make it. Dude there’s people playing high D1 basketball putting up 22 & 11, and have to go to the G League because they can’t get drafted. Do better bro lol
