This hit deep. I recently lost someone and everything lyrically really hit hard. I’ve not cried on the first listen of a song in a long while until this. I know things like this are said a lot, but genuinely thank you for this, really explains a lot of emotions I’ve not been able to put into words over the past two months. This song already means a lot, so thank you for something that will more than likely help the healing process, this song couldn’t have come at a better time ❤️
My husband lost his battle to depression at 25 years old 2 days ago. He always told me his desires for his funeral since he felt his time was running out. He wanted us to play this song as a final goodbye from him to us and to dress him in violet cause is his favorite color. Today I had to go and buy the clothes that he’ll rest forever and I felt that he guided me through it and I ended buying a lilac sweater and a beanie in same color. I felt his company so close to me through this process thanks to this song that expressed every last wish he had. Thanks Grayscale cause this song means a lot to me and will help me in this long journey as a 27 year old widow. He is free and he is resting and I’ll smile cause his pain no longer exists and he’s at peace now. 💜💜
This speaks so much to me. I've lost friends, family, and almost lost myself back in December. You guys and your music have helped me through everything, from my buddy shooting your video for pallets, meeting Colin Dallas and nick outside of the BMTH show in Philly a few years ago, you guys have always been blasted in my car since then. Can't wait for the record and keep making the tri-state proud boys
One a real note; This song is amazing. Next month is the 6 year anniversary of my cousin horrific car accident that hit my family so hard. She’s still with us in little ways and let’s us know when she is. I feel like after I heard this song, she’s with me today. Forever 25, Gorgeous. We love and miss you everyday! 3.15.88 - 8.27.13💜♥️
I saw Grayscale open for The Maine a few times and then saw them play on their own tour in September. And they are amazing. I was able to catch them before they played and they are really nice guys and let me interrupt to talk to them. They are just awesome.
today, me and my family lost a really close friend, he was part of the family. it's sad that this song has so few views, although i am grieving, this helps me out a lot. rest in peace Silvio, you will be forever missed. in memory of all those who lost their lives to covid-19. stay safe.
I saw them open 2 times for The Maine and then last week saw them on their own tour. And I had the chance to talk to them before the show and they are amazing!
Im recently catching up on alot of music i somehow missed out on, real friends, the story so far, gave me these guys as a recommendation and yet again happy yet sad i miss out on this stuff its amazing
You guys are now my favorite band! I just love everything about you. Is it hard sometimes to get inspiration to write songs that aren’t about cliche things?
This hits home. Recently dealing with recurring grief I have for the loss of my grandma 10 years ago but it still hurts like it was just yesterday. Thank you for putting this up very timely. This consoled me. 😢💜💖
Grayscale doesn't make a bad song. Seen them live 4 times and talked to them in person. Thank you Grayscale for all that you do and keep making good music 😍
I’m analyzing a couple things about this, as usual. The song reminds me of my mom, she’s the light of my life and the reason I’m still here, it’s the biggest kind of love I have ever felt and this just makes me think of her so much. Also this is like a different daylily feeling, the sky it’s not just pink clouded but it also turns into purple when it’s getting darker so it really felt like an extension of feelings from movements. I like that. The lyrics are simple and straight to the point, and the people in this video are really giving us a sparkly smile that wraps up so nicely. 100/100
In love with the song. It reminds of my late grandmother so much (purple was her favorite color) and it was so hard to let her go, but she was suffering and I knew she wouldn’t be in pain anymore. I really like the take of losing someone like that. The don’t be sad, I wouldn’t want you to be. Was there anything major in your personal lives that was a big part of making this song?
you guys really didn't have to go this hard.. but I'm glad you did
Hey, matey! This calls for a review. 😉

@@NateTheMateForever yaaaaaaaaay!!!! Looking forward to it! 💜

All I hear in that bridge is "Medicine" by BMTH.
