The day has finally arrived for Emporio to arrive. I would like to thank Marcel Jordan Horse Transport for transporting him from Portugal all the way to the Netherlands.

He probably knows the horse cant tell what he is stepping into. Its a black hole. A very trusting horse in his handler.
I was glad to see it too. That is how it’s supposed to be. Horses need trust & respect. Not whips and chains.

2 stallions together can fight however I’m not sure if chase is a gelding of now but yet it wouldn’t be exactly safe unless there both calm as hay
Because two stallions will fight with each other however I'm not sure if Chase is gelded or not and if Chase isn't a stallion Maybe he just wanted to wait before introducing them to one another or maybe Emporio is not very good with other horses I'm not really sure

Was wondering why he didn't have a blanket or shipping boots on. An expensive stallion like that needs protection.
Kim Albrecht you can do more harm than good with boots on for that long. He was in the trailer for 3 days. Boots on that long can rub, irritate the skin, get stepped on and pulled down, they could pee on them and then they are wet, etc. For long hauls I only do bell boots if they are shod and leave them naked otherwise. The risk of injury in a well kept van like that one is less than the risk of leaving boots or wraps on for 3 days

Hey Folks, why can't people lay off the really personal questions? Yes, Matt and Jesse are both adorable and funny and accomplished and they have chosen to share parts of their lives with "us". But that doesn't mean they have to share everything! If they wanted us to know about their personal relationship(s), they would tell us. But since they don't, can't people just enjoy what they do share and leave them with some privacy? Ok, I've climbed off my soap box for now. 😉

So Happy for you, Emporio seemed to have been looked after quite well, legs stiff but not swollen, no mucus discharge, calm as a lamb. Well done to the cartage company this video should be a good marketing tool for them, nice truck too with good suspension, and really nice driver is a respectful handler. Just because you were wondering, where the saying "dogweather" comes from - we use it in Germany ("Hundewetter") und it means, that it's such a bad weather, that you don't even would send a dog outside (sorry, it's quite difficult to translate/explain) - hope, you can follow 🤣 Thank you so much for this awesome video and have a wonderful first time together with Emporio!
