Dutch Seaport Scheveningen in 360 Virtual Reality, As never seen before.

- If you do not understand the TH-cam player, this video sucks...
So: Follow these steps for most fun and best results:
1. In the settings of YT Player, choose: "4k Video Quality"
2. Click your mouse/pointer/finger (hold) on the screen and move in any direction
3. More sophisticated option when using a smartphone: use your smartphone as a viewfinder and point that to the direction you want to see. (uhm, yes, this only works if you watch the video on your smartphone...)
Many thanks to Terry Hoyle, one of my subscribers, who pointed out the 360degrees VR possibility on TH-cam, so this is a test to see how you like it. Unfortunately I am not possible (yet) to integrate 360degrees views with regular footage, so for now I have to separate the recordings if I also wanna share the 360degrees experience with you.

Wohho this is serious stuff, such a good idea, and what a marina to show us … some serious and beautiful boats to drool over (such amateur boat lovers like me certainly will, I am sure of that), thank you, will go back a few times to catch all the details for sure:)
And with the 360 experience, you can stop the video and view all sides. Something you would love (I remember from previous comments)

I cannot join my regular footage with the 360 experience, so I will upload two video's (the regular and the 360) the moment I want to/can share both.

Ja, wat balen is, ik heb 4 video's van het fietsen door Scheveningen en langs het strand, maar ik kan die 4 files niet aan elkaar plakken, zoals ik dat met regulier filmmateriaal wél kan en doe. Enfin beetje pielen nog, maar ik dacht dat dit wel leuk was.

Yep, I am happy with that camera too, but unfortunately the software that comes with it does not offer te opportunity to stich multiple takes to one, AND create one large VR video. So next time, when I want a VR version, I must shoot one long shot.

I have been thinking about a 360 camera for a while, so its nice to see this being used differently, as I am not into adventure sports that many use the camera for, so your footage helps a lot. Yes, 4k is a 'little' heavier then the regular HD footage.

Probably I am a bit too old (born in 1977), but this feels totally sci-fi to me. I understand that you have advanced gyroscopes and accelerometers (some sort of IMU) in this device, but the sheer potential of being able to "look around" while being in motion is truly amazing.

Wish everyone that makes TH-cam content would use 360 VR. Yours is the best I've seen. BTW I'm watching on my Desktop PC with a mouse and other than being able to rotate my view, I see no difference in the video quality from your 360 VR and that of regular 4K content. Just tried the smartphone which work as you said... great!!!!!

Henk-Jan, you really are full of surprises. The Scheveningen Seaport in Hague has got to be a must see including all the fascinating aspects of the city. It kinda reminds me of Seattle’s harbor. I loved the bicycle tour along the pier and the special views through the eye of the camera.
To be honest I think Seattle is even more special, mostly because of the ferries. The ferries over there have something in common with the ones in Amsterdam, and then Seattle has it's farmer market close to the waterfront and the world famous FISH shop where the crew have a great show every day. I have sweet memories of that place, so perhaps I exaggerate/romanticize a little. BUT, a seaport for sure always has its charm. When not here by boat I am having dinner every two weeks at one of the restaurants in this video.
Hoi Henk, Nou dat is eens wat anders rondje Scheveningen op de fiets met een 360 graden camera al heb ik deze show wel van mijn mobiele telefoon moeten bekijken mijn oude computer kon dat niet meer aan raakte gelijk van slag, zo dat is daar aardig veranderd zeg ben er zeker in geen jaren meer geweest in de haven Scheveningen en dan woon ik zelf in Den Haag Bedankt Henk dat was een mooi show met de 360 camera 👍👍👍👍

Hoi Henk, ik zal nog steeds het genoegen hebben om deze video te bekijken. Bravo aan u voor het zien van de haven van Scheveningen in 360°. Het probleem dat Google translate werkt niet op dit soort video's. Toch is het een prachtige video. Nu om te lachen🤣, je hield wel van de Google Map-auto's, maar je met de camera op je hoofd en op een fiets🤣. Bravo aan jou en tot de volgende.

@@MVLadyLiselot In het kantoor van Rederij van der Zwan op de kop van de haven. Uitzicht op de 'breakwaters'. Slecht zicht was er op dat moment, in ieder geval matig.
@@johank.nooitgedagt5665 Ja, het zicht was slecht inderdaad. Voer op 500m langs de pier en zag er niets van. Op de radar een grote roze vlek, maar dat was het dan ook wel.

Dat deel is inmiddels behoorlijk verslechterd, zag ik. Waarschijnlijk zijn ze daarom Encore gestart.

This was great but....at the end would be nicer if you ended by showing you on a bike with a 360 on a pole (cam stick), enjoyed very much.
I'm not from the Netherlands, so if someone can explain to me, what is the purpose of the large wooden pallet on older ships from the Dutch canals, usually attached to the right side of the ship. Thank you in advance.

Hey Henk, thanks for using the 360, now we have an improved experience, enabled me to take a good look at those schooners you cycled past. BUT maybe tell your viewers how to use it? Some may not know about it. Also I see you have that fancy software that hides the telescopic pole on which your camera is mounted - cool.
And thank you for pointing it out to me, Terry. Did you see I mentioned you in the description? Unfortunately I cannot join the regular footage with this 360 experience, So I will upload two types of video's the moment I am gonna use it. I took 4 video's in total on the quay and can not glue these 4 files together in the edit suite, so have to create 1 file. Tried to explain the usage in the title.

How did you do the over head shot while riding the bike
I use the Insta360 X3 on a pole. I can extend this pole to 3 meters. In this case it was 1.5m above my head. The rest magic of the Insta360.

Is it just me as you are showing most of it is out of focus.
Choose 4k Video Quality in the settings. From what you write, I guess you're watching in 480p
